The Bowers Family

Well we made it home safe and sound yesterday from our fabulous vacation, even though we didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend that you all visit this wonderful resort island. We had the best time, Chris played golf, Madison and I played on the beach and we all played together at the pool. We loved our beach front villa and we ate at some great restaurants. We had such a great time together as a family. We also enjoyed our visit with family in Batesburg and Lexington. More pictures to share but had to post our little beach babe.

Well the family is off to Kiawah Island, SC for some rest, recreation, and relaxation. This is our first destination vacation since our honeymoon eight years ago. We usually go visit family and hang out, which is great, but this year we decided to go somewhere different and have some us time and take a little trip to the beach. Yes, Florida does have some beautiful beaches which would have been closer but what's a vacation without a little road trip. So off to SC we go.

Here are the pictures of Madison eating some of the chocolate chip ice cream cake that we got Chris for his birthday. Madison loved it so much that she licked the plate clean. Madison has always been a good eater but licking the plate clean is not the norm at our house, this was just too cute to see her little tongue through the clear plate. Hugs and kisses to all from Madison, next week we will be at the beach.

Thursday was Chris' birthday and we celebrated Aggie style. Madison was his own personal cheer leader. Well I know the Aggie's don't have cheerleaders at the games but if we ever have a boy then he can be a yell leader. Chris was able to come home for lunch like most days and Madison surprised him with her outfit. After we ate Madison gave him some special goodbye kisses along with a big ol' Texas style see ya later wave. So Chris here's to many many more together, we love you!

Hope that you have all enjoyed your Labor Day Weekend. We can finally say that we organized the garage before we hit the one year mark on living here. We finally dumped some stuff that we just kept moving from place to place but never used. Madison also enjoyed playing on the porch between showers. We are now counting down the days to the many birthdays that are coming up, most importantly Chris'. Have a great week and love to everyone.
