Birthday portraits

Here are Madison's birthday portraits. I am glad they turned out so good since Madison just didn't want to cooperate that day, too bad the terrible two's started at 18 months. We can't believe our baby is two or that she looks and acts so grown up, wow how time has flown by.

Living Proof Live - Jacksonville

Well I had a great time in Jacksonville at Beth Moore's Living Proof Live. My Mother in Law, Janie, and myself along with a friend of hers Van attended the Friday and Saturday sessions. I really enjoyed it and enjoyed seeing Beth Live. I love reading her studies and watching her videos and she is even better in person. Madison stayed at home with Grandpa Bowers and Chris was home at night and in the morning. Madison had a great time loving on them. I will definitely have to do that again.

Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. Friday Madison and I returned from our two week trip to Texas. We had a great time with family and friends and we look forward to our next trip in June.
Saturday I took Madison to our church's egg hunt at the apartment complex that our church is reaching out to. Madison loved it! She had trouble sitting still for the Easter story with the Resurrection eggs but she loved the hunt, so much so that we had two more hunts in the front yard with Daddy when we got home. Chris had worked that morning so he missed the egg hunt but I think he got a better show at home anyways. Then Madison came inside and wanted to have another egg hunt so she hid them and found them herself. While I made dinner she had a great time playing with Daddy and making towers. When Sunday morning came around we all got dressed and were actually ready early so we had time for a few little gifts and pictures in the yard.
We thank God for the gift of Jesus Christ and what His sacrifice means to us we also look forward to helping Madison fully understand the true meaning of Easter as she begins to understand more.
