Business Trip
Today Chris is flying to Texas, for work, to see if he can help shave 15 million dollars off a potential new project for his company. I myself am very hopeful because you see this is one of the next jobs that Chris may manage if his company can get the customer to approve the contract bid. You can take the girl out of Texas but you can't take the Texas out of the girl. I would love to move closer to home for Madison to finally have the chance to at least live close to one set of Grandparents and extra relatives are a plus. So Chris is leaving our 78 degree weather and headed towards flurries, freezing rain, black ice, and a low of 27 degrees. Despite the deteriorating weather conditions Chris should have a good trip because most of the potential new customers are Texas A&M Aggie engineers so he will be in heaven with people to discuss all things Aggie. That is what we call "Good Bull." My prayer is that God would place an extra dose of His protection and guidance on Chris this next few days and that God's will be done. Of course I will be a little sad if this project doesn't get a green light but after the last five years I think I am ready for almost anything. So if you think of this week we ask that you would pray with us as we wait upon the Lord for our next assignment with eager anticipation. I can't wait to get the report back on this project "deep in the heart of Texas." (Waxahachie, Midlothian, and Corsicana)
