We had a great family fun night with our pretty princess.

So it turns out princesses have a really hard time climbing up inflatable slide steps.

Madison loves to ride ponies.  Tonight she got to ride twice.  Afterwards she said "those ponies smelled horrible, somebody needs to wash their bodies."

Madison doing the chicken dance.  I should have gotten that on video she was hysterical.  She really gets into  it.

We had a great time just wish it had not of been so hot out.  Madison had beads of sweet on her little nose.

Our Cinderella

This year for Halloween Madison decided she wanted to be Cinderella.  Today we tried on her costume for the first time and I gave her a makeover after her previous request this week for a makeover.  We had fun dressing her up, fixing her hair, and giving her a little "makeup".  I think she is the prettiest Cinderella ever, now we just need a ball to attend.  I guess a Fall Festival will have to do.  Enjoy.

Ok so people are always telling me "Madison is so beautiful she should be a model" well here is your chance to help make that happen. VOTE for Madison to be the next model for GAPKIDS. Hey I gave them over 5 years of my life, the least that can happen is for my little girl to be their next model sensation, right.

Follow the link to vote for Madison B. You will have to register to vote but they don't really send junk mail, I registered several days ago to get her approved.  I promise I will vote for your child or buy as many rolls of wrapping paper or girl scout cookies as needed.

If you can vote for your mascot in the Capital One Bowl then you can vote for my sweet little girl.

You can vote once a day and yes you can vote for more then one child if you know someone in the challenge.  Voting ends Nov 17th so help us rack up the votes.

Thanks,

Her loving Momma and Daddy

1st Field Trip

Today Madison went on her first field trip with her preschool.  The three year old classes all went to the Alachua Pumpkin Patch sponsor by the First United Methodist Church of Alachua.  This is a Pumpkin Patch fundraiser in conjunction with the Navaho Indians of Northwestern New Mexico.

Today the Pumpkin Patch Family of churches and other non-profit organizations is made up of over 1,000 locations, over 20 denominations in 42 states and still growing. The Navaho Indians of the Four Corners area of New Mexico grow, pick and load trailer trucks for the journey to the pumpkin patch locations; two-thirds of the proceeds of all sales goes directly to the Navaho Reservation and the remainder benefits the community church to help fund their goals. http://www.pumpkinsusa.com/AboutUs.htm

Madison was so excited about this field trip, she absolutely could not wait to "introduce me" to all her friends.  I have always believed that Madison was a great kid, she was a super easy baby, and easy going toddler.  I didn't fully realize to the full extent what an out going and social child she is.  Somewhere in the last few weeks Madison heard someone say that they could talk to a rock meaning that they will talk to anyone and anything.  Well Madison has taken that up as her slogan.  She will say "you know Momma I talk to rocks."  Well today she proved that to me.  She was so insistent about introducing me to each child.  She even cried when I walked past a child I didn't realize was in her class.  All of a sudden burst of tears, "Madison what is wrong", "you didn't get to meet Holton."  Her teacher comes over and asks is she ok, we realize the problem and it turns out that Holton is right next to us.  Wow didn't realize it was that crucial to the child.  As a child I was pretty shy I wouldn't say that I would just go up to kids I didn't know but Madison she could care less if she knows them or not.  She will go up to kids on a playground and ask them if they want to play with her.  She of course is devastated if they aren't interested.  I try to tell her it is ok to play by herself but that isn't good enough for her, she is my "social butterfly."  She must get that from her two Grandma's that have too many friends to ever count.  Thank you Jesus for my spirit filled child, thank you for her kind and open heart.  Thank you for giving us this small piece of "Grace", she is so much more then we could ever have deserved.   So thankful the weather was moderately comfortable, the overcast skies helped make the heat and humidity bearable.

Fall ???

Well currently it is 90 degrees with 100% humidity with showers but we can think about fall now that we have our pumpkins.

We visited the pumpkin patch today at the church where our MOPS group meets.

Then we came home to decorate them.  She had to have 4 pumpkins so that the little girl could have a friend.  We gave the girls bows and then she said the daddy needed something so she rain to her potato heads to pick a hat for him, she came back with the hard hat.  He must be in construction like out daddy.  Too cute, she is always thinking.

Madison just had to take my picture too.  Then we needed a group shot.
