Cade's Wizard Party

We researched themes on Familyfun.com and Cade decided on doing a wizard party. We had the kids make magic wands and sorcerer hats. Here they are learning a magic spell to transform their lizards into something they really want.
We had a lot of kids!!! They all had a great time!
We had a treasure hunt for magic beans where each clue had to be decoded some way (such as holding the clue up to the mirror so it could be read and using invisibe ink) They were all screaming and running all over the house to find clues.
Cade got another cool gun and of course he loves them all!
We were in CA the day before Cade's Birthday so we had a party there too. Grammy got pizza and we made a penguin cake that Cade picked. We also went to see Princess and the Frog.

The Magic of Coupons!!!!

I got all this stuff for $0.35!!!! Yes you read that correctly! Coupons combined with the regular store prices of Wal-Mart!

Disneyland!

Stacey, Grammy and Cade at Toon Town. All the kids rode the roller coaster in Toon Town and even rode Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain, which was their favorite!!! Sage said she didn't like Splash Mountain because she almost threw up on the big drop. She takes after her dad with the motion sickness.
Here are all the kids together. We were worried it was going to be really crowded because it was 3 days after Christmas, but we got on a lot of rides and with fast passes we got on rides in minutes!!! It turned out to be a great day to go!!! We were going to go on Wednesday instead of Monday and it is a good thing we didn't because Jada came down with pnemonia and we were in the E.R. with a very sick baby!
I thought this was a cute picture of the kids with their Grammy. Grammy loves Disneyland and seems to go at least once a year with some grandchildren.
Jada was so tired after a long day of Disneyland, and as we were having dinner the only thing that kept her happy was feeding me bread. She fed me for 10 minutes straight. I had to take the bread out of my mouth and hide it from her because I couldn't eat anymore, but it was so much fun for her. We were all cracking up and how cute it was for her to do this over and over and over and over.....

Disneyland!

We went to Disneyland with my mom and my sister-in-law and 2 nieces. The kids had a lot of fun with their cousins and I had a lot of fun because Jada never lacked a babysitter.
Here is Mickey with his Santa hat on.
Here is the gang (minus Darlene) at toon town.
Zane was feeling sick all day so he did not go on one ride, but it worked out okay because he was the babysitter. We joked that all Zane did all day was eat and eat and tried all the many Disney restaurants so here is a picture of him doing what he did that day.
Sage and me

All the Loot!

Sage got a camera from Santa, some clothes, a new hooded bath robe that I made, a bed tent (very fun), a CD case, some Hannah Montana lipgloss, game, and stickers, texting pods, a slinky, and a watch.
Jada got a baby and moses basket from Santa, a stroller, a TV game, a helicopter toy, and a bath toy
Cade got a remote control motorcycle from Santa, clothes, a hooded monster towel, an umbrella (he was so excited to have his very own), a bed tent, and a battery powered Nerf dart gun.

CHRISTMAS 2009

Jada pushing around her new baby in her new stroller!
We are finally the proud parents of a Wii. I gave in and we got a Wii and the kids were so excited. You can see that Sage was so happy she was almost crying!!!
Christmas morning. Jada had so much fun with the wrapping paper and boxes of course! Everyone got so much fun stuff. We had a lot of fun playing with our kids and their new toys. Of course Rock Band 2 game and the Wii were huge hits!
Christmas morning before we went to see what Santa brought. They were all super excited!!!
Christmas Eve their new jammies. We have a new tradition of watching The Small One movie, making sugar cookies, reading lots of Christmas books, and getting new jammies on Christmas Eve. We even had to pack on Christmas Eve since we were going to leave for CA on Christmas in the early evening.

Jada is Starting to Walk!

I pulled this fire truck in from the garage to see if she liked to play with it and she loves to push it around. She is getting really good practice for walking. She has taken 4 steps at the most now and expect her to take off any day.
When we were decorating the tree Jada was going bezerk trying to get the decorations. She was screeching and grunting tring her hardest to reach the tree. She also chucked every decoration she could get her hands on out of the box. I was so worried she would never leave the tree alone, but surprisingly she has done really well. She occasionally will go over to the tree and take a few ornaments off, but for the most part she doesn't even notice the tree.
Here she is trying her hardest to reach one of the sparkliest ornaments. Those were by far her biggest temptation!
