100 things you might not know…

Okay, so I have been tagged many times to do this and I have never gotten around to it so here goes:

1. I am having a hard time of thinking of 1 thing to say, let alone 100. I am not a very good writer. I am much better at concrete things like math.

2. I love music. I used to play guitar. In college I took piano for 2 semesters and then had a roommate teach me some guitar. In fact, that is how Zane and I met. He played and helped me learn some new songs.

3. I love to sew old things into new things

4. I recently got into digital scrap booking and love it!

5. I love to clean out my house and get rid of stuff I don’t need.

6. I love to cross things off my list and get things done. It feels so good!

7. I hate getting the mail lately b/c I always have wasps in my mailbox every Spring. I get rid of them one day and the next day they are back starting a new hive!!!! Dang you wasps!

8. I love playing cards like Rook, or Gin, or Phase 10.

9. I love to decorate my house. I wish I had more money to do it and I wouldn’t stop. I want to add crown molding and other stuff when I get the chance.

10. I love watching TV shows with Zane. There are only a few we like to watch together so when those ones are on I love it.

11. I love going for walks. Cade rides his bike and I walk and that way he doesn’t get tired. He is really good to wait for me at every street corner.

12. I am trying to have a garden for the second year. Let’s hope more things grow this time. It definitely is a learning process.

13. I forget I have a blog most of the time and don’t take pictures or post anything.

14. I love to shop at Wal-Mart in the morning when it is not crowded. Forget about going once it is past 11.

15. I love to shop sales combined with coupons and get products for free. I get a high off of it and have to tell Zane about the great deals I get.

16. I love that my 5 year old knows how to navigate on the internet and I never showed him one thing!!!

17. I love to make jewelry.

18. My first tape was Paula Abdul.

19. My favorite color is green.

20. I hated mini-vans but now that I have 3 kids, I am looking forward to getting one.

21. My favorite movie is “So I Married an Axe Murderer.”

22. I hate to clean, but I like things neat!

23. I like to sit in the shade all the time b/c I burn easily and get lots of freckles. When I was young I was tan and had sun bleached light brown hair.

24. I had braces in 4th grade for only 11 months!

25. My friend’s mom is as old as my brother! Yikes!!!

26. I lived in Vegas for 4 years and I never became a pole dancer.

27. My favorite flowers are hydrangeas. Too bad mine haven’t done so well in Utah.

28. I loved all 3 High School Musical movies!

29. I love Café Rio

30. I love learning new things. The internet is an amazing tool for that. I just google what I want to learn and read about it.

31. I took the currency course from Zane’s work and learned how to trade foreign currency.

32. I grew up with horses in my backyard and rode often.

33. I had horses, cats, and dogs as a kid and am allergic to all 3 now!

34. It was tradition in my family growing up to go camping at Carpinteria Beach twice a year. So much fun camping at the beach!

35. I had glasses in 4th grade b/c I got headaches all the time, but I wouldn’t wear them. My dad decided he would wear them for reading at night since he hated going to the Dr.. They were pink rimmed 9 year old glasses!!!!

36. My dad always loved tormenting my friends and I and everyone else for that matter. He still lives for that!!! Example: We would hide from him in the front yard and he would sneak around and turn the sprinklers on!!!!!

37. I love the Redbox!!!! New releases for only $1!!!!!

38. I love fruit!

39. I wish I loved to exercise.

40. Every Sunday when I was 9-11 years old my sisters and I would sew Barbie clothes for our Barbies. Well my one sister would glue the clothes on, but mine had beads, fringe, and matching gloves and purses…

41. My hair is thin but my sister likes to tease me that I have 3 strands of hair.

42. I have only found 1 grey hair last summer right when I turned 30 and I haven’t found one since so I will take thin hair over grey hair!

43. I love the rain.

44. I am a morning person and usually fall asleep watching TV at like 9:30pm.

45. I like to decorate cakes.

46. I love salad. I go through phases of different salads I like. One week it will be with apples and craisins in it and the next week it will be with cottage cheese as my dressing…

47. I don’t like eating at fast food restaurants.

48. I love to see something in a store and make it at home for free.

49. I wanted to be an architect.

50. I wish I would have taken piano lessons as a kid.

51. I hate using public restrooms and I never have to go potty when I am out until the second I walk in the door to my house.

52. I am starting to get wrinkly and I am very self-conscious about it.

53. I am a saver. Zane is a spender. It makes things tough sometimes.

54.I am a nail biter. When I was young it was much worse. I used to bite every nail down so far that it hurt and I would have a band-aid on almost every finger.

55 I used to put my dog in a stroller and push him around like my baby when I was like 7.

56. I used to dream of being a singer on the radio when I was little, but I was always too shy to even sing in church.

57. I won a hula hoop contest in kindergarten. I can’t even get the hula hoop to go around once now!

58. I was called Shana Banana all growing up.

59. My sisters came up with a bunch of annoying nicknames later on like: Sha-nay-nay, Sha-bizzle, Sha-biz-nut, Shani (pronounced Shawn-E), and many other equally ugly names.

60. I have mental illness on both sides of my family so my husband always says I am crazy!!!

61. My eyes hurt when they get wet, even in the shower, so I don’t like swimming or anything that gets my eyes wet.

62. When I was young one of our favorite past-times was to make a spook alley. Even in July. We had a long hall that was dark when we closed all the doors.

63. Whenever there was an empty wrapping paper roll in our house my sister and I would make a microphone. We would then decide since we had a microphone that we needed to play The Price is Right. We would make a wheel and have products to bid on. Good times!!!

64. I love diet Dr. Pepper!!!

65. My favorite all time TV shows are Seinfeld and Friends

66. I can re-watch a movie or re-read a book b/c I usually don’t remember what happens in the end.
