Relocation, Part 1

My parents have to move their house (where my siblings and I grew up) to another location on the farm because the house's foundation isn't good.
They got rid of the bunk house. Ruthie and Nae liked watching the process from inside.

Sorry Mike, Steve and Elizabeth. It's weird seeing everything changed from when we grew up.

As you can tell from the picture below, my dad had a lot to do with moving the bunk house all by himself. :) Doesn't he look exhausted?
We found some dead snakes Ruthie wanted to see.

The garage was also taken away and eventually my parents will build a new one.

The shed was moved closer to the barn. Ruthie calls it the "baby barn."
Preparing to dig out for the foundation of where their house will be moved.

Again, my dad working hard by moving the garage all by himself. I don't know how he does it, even nearing retirement! :)

Beautiful Daughters ~

Mommy: Ruthie, what kind of dog should we get when we go to Alaska?
Ruthie: A missionary dog.

Mommy: Nae, make sure to get those green beans in your belly. [Nae then proceeds to lift up her shirt and put the green bean on her tummy]
Daddy: Ruthie, in order to use the swing you need to wait till this boy is done. [the boy is still swinging as Ruthie approaches him]

Ruthie: Boy, hey Boy, are you done yet?

Brad and I realized how "addicting" kid music was when we went on a date, and halfway there caught ourselves singing with the kid CD in the van.
Mommy [driving in the van]: Hmm, what snack should you guys have?

Ruthie: Happy Meal! [I blame the grandparents] ;)

Ruthie: Nae, say "wowit!" Hey Mama, I'm teaching Nae Nae to say wowit (wallet). [At least Nae might get the syllables right when she's older]

Meet Bob the Tomato ~

Nae really liked this outfit!

It's Mud Time ~

The Joys of Having Daughters ~

Brad: This pizza is really good.
Ruthie: [Seriously] Is it pure joy?

This is the way the girl's lounge on long trips in the van.
Ruthie likes to read her Bible, even on the go.
When we ask Naomi to do her "strong man" look, she'll clench her fists and make a funny face.
Nae is a fun girl...she is pretty independent, especially when we go shopping. Once she's free she'll take advantage and run all around. One time I found her dangerously sitting on a high shelf (she somehow climbed onto it).
The girl's are enamored with my amazing ability to blow bubbles with my gum. It's almost as entertaining as when I vacuum!
