Kindergarten field trip at Schnepf farm

I enjoyed getting to join Tyson on his first field trip of the year. I also got to meet Tyson's best friend Blaze from school. The kids enjoyed watching the pig races, riding on the "Corn Coaster," making it through the corn maze, petting the farm animals and picking out their very own pumpkin to take home. It was a busy day, and everyone including Mom was ready for a nap by the end of it all! Tyson's teacher, Ms. Peluso, made sure to go on all of the rides with her students and you could tell she was having as much fun as they were. All in all, it was a very fun field trip!

Tyson's 6th birthday!

Tyson is growing up way too fast! He is starting to read better every day and scores lots of goals in his soccer games. He loves to tease his sisters and wrestle with them, although they don't always appreciate it! He loves to ride around on his two wheel bike and continues to amaze me with how thoughtful he can be at times. The other night he lost an arrow from his new bow set and prayed to Heavenly Father to help him find it. He soon after recovered the arrow and quickly got back on his knees to thank his Heavenly Father for helping him find it, exclaiming, "I don't know how I can every repay you!" Mom kind of dropped the ball this year with planning a big friend party. We ended up inviting Brody over for a cousin spend the night and took the whole family to Enchanted Island at Encanto Park. The kids had a blast and it was an absolutely perfect place to take that age of kids. They made sure to try out every ride at least once and the only let down was that the workers forgot to charge the bumper boats! Tyson wanted a yellow cake with chocolate frosting for his birthday cake and sadly I still haven't found a great made from scratch recipe for it. Oh well...E for effort! Daddy really pulled through this year because Mommy was so sick with the stomach flu that I could hardly walk, so pancake breakfast and classroom birthday treats were all taken care of by him. We are so proud of our big boy and enjoy watching him grow into a thoughtful, honest and talented person with a contagious smile!
