Snow Day

Finally, just what I have been waiting for…SNOW! Haha We went to go to church and the snow was the lightest powder I have felt in years, not to mention that it was about 12 inches deep. It was so cool. We went to church and I was surprised because the snow just two miles south was not as deep? After primary I found Daxton and he told me that his ear hurt. That would explain the fever that he has had since Friday. I left and we went right to the doctor. He was in so much pain. I felt bad because you could tell he didn’t fell well. I carried him, and he even fell asleep on the way to the doctor, which never happens. Well, we got our drugs and ear drops and he was a new person.
RaCinda and Kalie were down and Tahnee and Tyson came down later also. We went out to play in the snow. Tahnee and Daxton made a snow turtle. Then I came out and made a snow shark-fish. It was fun. Then we got out the 3-wheeler and rode behind on the sleds. It was just Tahnee and I at first, with Daxton and a neighbor and my primary girl Erin on the back of the wheeler. It was so much fun, I was shouting for joy. No major injuries for me but Tahnee got the worst rope bruise; it went all around her arm. I love being a kid, I will never grow up. I eventually let Daxton ride on the sled with me. He loved it and wants to do it everyday.

Baby-sitting 12-2-8

Daxton loves his cousins. KrisAnn came down to go to lunch and a movie with her mom and sister so she asked my mom to watch the girls. Daxton was so excited. I was kind of bummed because I have to work. But I came home from lunch to see them. My mom left me with all of them while she went to get her some food. Three kids under the age of 5, who does that! Daxton and Aubrey were wrestling, she loves him and that is what she does, which would be fine if Daxton wasn’t used to wrestling with grow ups. So I had to put Sienna down and do some separation. Haha they were nuts. My mom asked Daxton to watch Sienna while she tried to get Aubrey down for a nap. Keep in mind that Daxton is 5 and hasn’t been around a baby since Aubrey. So Sienna started to cry and Daxton tried to talk her out of it. Then he goes running up stairs. “Grandma, Sienna is crying and I can’t handle this responsibility!” He is to dang cute, I am so lucky to be his mom. Anyways, we decided to take the kids to see the lights at Layton Park. Aubrey was so dang excited. She was way good at spotting things. We love our girls and hope we get to tend them soon.

November went all wrong in 2008

Daxton helping mess up the leaves

So November has been just crazy! We had a really small party for Daxton with the family for his Birthday. That was fun. Then I got the flu during month end and I was in huge trouble because I am the only one that knows how to do it. I was sick on the day that I was supposed to close and the day after. I then returned to work and frantically for the next two days tried to close the month. That means that I didn’t have any fun at work…no blogging or shopping or anything. As far as what we have done this month for fun…we went to Madagascar 2, which I totally enjoyed. We have spent a lot of time with Corey and his family with the new baby. We went to Chuck E Cheeses when Daxton was being naughty (I am really bad at discipline). I had girl’s night with my friends. We had a surprise birthday party for Chelsea. She was totally surprised. It was a lot of fun! I went to the BYU/UTAH game. We sat on the 50 yard line. It was so cold. I went with my Dad and we froze our butts off. It was a lot of fun…and the right team one. haha For Thanksgiving we went to Lewiston, UT. It was the Hyer’s turn. It was nice because all of my family where together…minus Caden who is on his mission. I am so thankful for my family. I don’t know what I would ever do with out them. I am also thankful for my friends. My family and I went to the Jazz game against the Kings. It was a lot of fun. Daxton’s attention only lasts about 10 minutes. My cousin Marti had a baby shower in Logan so there I am back in Logan. Then I got to help watch my nieces again so there mom could go to a concert. That was fun but Daxton and I left early so we could go to bed. Sorry I am so far behind, I will try to work less so I can keep up. haha

Halloween has been a little bit different this year with Sienna being born. So in between visiting hours at the hospital we went to the mall to do trick or treating. It took all of 5 seconds and the candy was crap. I dont think that Daxton or Aubrey cared at all. Then we went back to the hospital to see the baby. It was kind of a late night.

Daxton's 5 10-28-08

Daxton was born October 28, 2003 at 12:20 in the afternoon. It was the best day ever…after he was out. He weighted 6 pounds 14 ounces and was 19 inches long. And then I blinked and he was turning 5. For some reason him turning 5 has been really hard on me. I think there are many reasons but I have not figured them all out yet. Anyways I had to work so right after work we went to Chuck E Cheeses and played there for a while. There were too many kids and everything was out of order. It was nuts. Then we went to Applebee’s because it’s also my Dad’s birthday. We met Corey and KrisAnn there for dinner. Then we went to my parent’s house to open presents and have pie…remember it’s also my Dad’s birthday. haha We opened presents and played for a while and then we went home. Man, my baby is 5!

Suprise 10-25-8

I woke up and when to my parents house because we were doing lunch and there sat my Uncle Kurt and his wife Sue! It was such a suprise, Tahnee and RaCinda and Kalie where there also but I was expecting them. We went to lunch and then the missionary mall. They have a missionary in Africa so I made them pose showing how far apart they are. It's crazy when you look at it like that.

Lagoon 10-24-8

One day at work I got a text from Kalie asking me if I wanted to go to Lagoon. I wanted to go to Lagoon but its so dang expensive. So after talking to my Dad, he said he would pay for me to go so that I didn't have to sit and do nothing all night. Then he adds that I might be able to meet someone there. I laughted, meet someone at Lagoon...right!

Pumpkin Carving 10-21-08

Daxton got me to carve pumpkins for him. I have never gutted a pumpkin before...mostly because I think it's sick and wrong. Well, the things we do for our kids. I was totally gaging.

Happy Birthday MOM 10-20-8

Today was my Mom’s 52nd birthday. We went to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Mitton for lunch. Then Corey was home sick (he lost his voice so it’s hard to make sales calls) so his family decided to come down for dinner. We met at Chili’s in Centerville, at 6:00pm. Needless to say my parents and Corey’s crew were a little late and so was Casey and Alisa so I sat by myself for a while. I was in a hurry because I had to leave to go get Daxton from Trevor. I left at 6:50 and I was at his Dad’s house at 7, I was so fast. Then we went to Dairy Queen to “MAKE” a cake. Everyone was at my house by the time the wonderful DQ workers wrote on the cake. Haha We didn’t wait a second we served it as soon as we walked through the door. Everyone thought I did a great job making a cake. We just sat around for a while and then we opened our one present. Daxton helped her open it. I hope my Mom had the best 52nd birthday that she has ever had.

The cake, yea Daxton picked it out...it had spiders on it
