Me and my fam bundled up this weekend and went to the Zoo Lights. It was really festive and the light displays were really cute. They had hot chocolate and coffee to keep you warm. Here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure. :)

Its A.......................
BOY!!!!
We found out just before Thanksgiving that we are having a boy! Here is a pic of the little guy. I didn't post a pic of his privates because he is shy. :) Everything is looking good, he is growing and developing. We are both so excited! We are going to start getting things together and doing the nursery!!

Thanksgiving
Me and Brandon rotate for Thanksgiving and this year it was with my family. We had it at my mommy's house and my whole family came. It was so fun to have everyone together. Having lots of family around is what the holidays are about and I am so thankful for my family. I love them all very much.
We had some excitement this year when my sisters boyfriend proposed to her when we all sat down to eat. It was the sweetest thing ever, I cried like a little girl. I am so happy for both of them, he is a really great guy and they are a perfect match. I can't wait to start wedding planning with her. I AM SO EXCITED!!

Halloween Party

Pregnant!
Yes, you read it right, I am pregnant! I had my first doc appointment and everything looks great! I am due May 10! We are both so excited and Buddy is excited to be a big brother! hehe Here is the first pic of our little peanut.
Jeromy
In August, Brandon's brother Jeromy, was here on leave. He is in the Army and is currently serving in Iraq. We think about him everyday and pray that he returns safely and soon! We love you Jeromy!

Utah State Fair
Me and Brandon went up to the State Fair this weekend with my mom and dad, my sis Brandi and my sis Ash and her boyfriend Mike. It was a great day, perfect weather.

Salem Days
This past week was Salem Days here in Salem. There were a number of activities and events throughout the week. On Saturday, August 9 there was a parade through our neighborhood. Brandon was Smokey the Bear in the parade. He was so cute with all kids wanting their picture taken and giving them high fives. He was dying in that suit, it was so hot!
That night, they had a pageant for the kids to participate in. Before the pageant started, all of the firefighters came up on stage and the young man that was in the car accident on July 1st spoke about the accident and presented the firefighters with a plaque to show his gratitude.
Then they gave each firefighter that had completed Fire 1 and 1st Responder training a framed certificate. I was so proud of him!!!

Firefighters
On July 1st there was a car accident here in Salem. A 16 year old rolled his van into a swamp. He was ejected from the van and trapped under it. The Salem Fire Department and Ambulance were called to the accident. The boy was sinking so fast in the swamp underneath the van, there was no time for equipment. The firefighters all took a side and lifted the van up off of the boy so he could get out. The Mayor of Salem invited all of the firefighters to the City Council Meeting and presented them with this Certificate and the Chief of Police gave them a letter of Commendation. I thought it was really awesome and I was really proud so I thought I would share.

July 24th
Brandon's birthday is on July 24th, so we went camping up Fairview for the long holiday weekend. It was so nice to get away. His grandparents have some property up there, so we have a nice camping spot with no one around us.
Our Buddy
This is our baby, Buddy. He is a cockatiel and he is 2 years old. We got him when he was only 6 months. He is a little ham and loves getting his picture taken. He has such a cute little personality and we spoil him so much. He loves going on car rides and going camping, he has a little box that he sleeps in, so cute!!
Panguitch Lake
We went to Panguitch Lake in June to celebrate my Grandpa's 70th birthday. The lake was beautiful. My Grandma got us all matching shirts and hats, it was cheesy, but so cute and my Grandpa loved it. He had no idea, we totally surprised him.
