Spaghetti!

Wyatt has been doing really good eating by himself, even though he makes a mess! I just had to share these cute messy pics!

Christmas 2010

Christmas morning we woke up (I had to wake Wyatt up, he likes to sleep in til 9!) and brought Wyatt downstairs. I think he was a little overwhelmed at first and didn't know what to think. We told him Santa came and then he started digging in. He still was not really into opening the presents, he would tear the wrapping paper, but once he saw what the present was he would just want it and not want to tear the wrapping paper anymore.

After presents at home, we headed up to my parents house and had a yummy breakfast and opened presents there. He did help open a few there, but once again just wanted the presents, didn't care about un-wrapping. He got so many toys and clothes from my mom and dad and my sisters. He loves them all!

Then we headed to my aunt Bobbi's house. Most of my extended family came and we all hung out and visited. Wyatt got another truck from my Grandma, which he loved!

Christmas Eve 2010

We headed to Brandon's grandparents house again this year for Christmas Eve. This year was especially exciting because Brandon's brother Jeromy, who is in the Army, his wife and baby girl were here. It had been like four years, I believe, since they have been here for Christmas. We had a good time eating, hanging out and opening a couple presents (mainly the chillens presents).

Snow......and a Gingerbread House

We have enjoyed playing in the snow this year with Wyatt. It is fun to see him experience it more this year.

The first snow we didn't get too much at our house.

The next time, it was a little bit more, enough that we had to shovel.

Then we got over a foot of snow!

Then we made a gingerbread house!! I hadn't done one in years and it was fun. I have to admit, I am not the best with the icing, so I did get a little frustrated, but I liked the final result!

Turkey Day

This year we had Thanksgiving at my parents house (we switch off every year). It was my parents, my little sis, my other sis and her hubby, us and my grandparents (dad's parents). We had a great time...dinner was great and company was great...of course! I am so very thankful for my family, they mean everything to me! I have the best parents and sisters. I love how close we are and how often we all see each other. I love my hubby and my little man. I love the holiday season and I am super excited for Christmas. Wyatt still won't get the whole Santa part, but he will definitely be into the presents more this year.

Eighteen Months

I can't believe Wyatt is a year and a half, it seems like we just had his 1st birthday. He had is doc appointment on Monday, November 15th and now weighs 25 lbs 6 oz, 50%; he is 33 inches long, 75% and his head is in the 50th percentile. The doc did his normal check to make sure everything is good and he is growing and developing right on track. Wyatt was very helpful to the doc at his appointment, he would hold the stethoscope on his chest so the doc could listen to his heart and lungs.

He is still as busy as ever and still LOVES to run around. He is walking up and down stairs without holding on. He still stumbles once in awhile, which still makes me nervous. He is throwing everything, he is still learning what he can and can't throw. :) He is still getting into books more and more and likes to help me turn the pages. We still have to keep our reading time to shorter books because he will only pay attention for so long.

He is saying a few more words these past couple months. He says pop pop pop (when we make popcorn), ow, baby. Whenever we say hello whatever he has in his hand he puts it up to his ear and says hello. He has said grandma and grandpa a couple times, but when you ask him to repeat it he won't, he is very stubborn that way. He will only say things when he wants to say things.

He likes to dance whenever he hears any type of music, even the music from his toys. And he loves to give me kisses....which I love. I pucker my lips and make a kissing sound and he leans in and gives me a kiss. It is so cute!

Family Pics

We headed over to Wheeler Farm a couple weeks ago and did some family pics. I took my sis' family pics and she took mine. I think they turned out pretty good considering we did them ourselves and we had crazy Wyatt and crazy Joey (my sis' dog).
