the christmas dance

One day when I came home from work I found a mess waiting for me in my room. This girl Jessica had asked me to the Christmas dance. She put a little rice krispie snowman on my bed and put scrapes of paper all over, and glitter on my bed and desk. It was such a pain to have to clean up, but worth it in the long run. So, after I answered her, and after we found a group to go with we planned what we were going to do. We figured out what we were going to do. For our day activity we were going to go ice skating, and then go to the dance, and after wards go laser tagging. It didn’t take long for it to change. We ended up just hanging out, we played uno, and watched that 70’s show, we made ginger bread houses and chilled instead of ice skating. After a couple hours the guys left to let the girls get ready, we came back at around 5:30 pm. We took pictures until about 6 o’clock. We had to wait for all the parents to get up there and it took a while because it was snowing again. Once we took like 500 pictures we decided we should go to dinner. We went to this place called Sego Lilly or something. It was pretty good, but the waitress sent us to the wrong party and some stupid girls were laughing at us. Once we found our real seats we all ordered. I got the Arista pork stuff, and it was way amazing. We ate until 7:30ish, and we left to go to the dance. We got there really early and walked around, and got our pictures taken. Once the dance started it was pretty fun. It was sort of lame because they left all the lights on the whole time. The Sunday nice clothes didn’t help much either. The coolest part was how high the ceiling was, this light hung like 30 feet from it. After we danced for a long time we all got tired and wanted to leave. We had to leave by like 10:15 to make it to laser tag, but we left too late so we couldn’t make it. We all changed and went to get hot chocolate, while there we decide to go bowling. We went and played one game and four of us decided we would go sledding. We all got our stuff ready and two of them called and said they couldn’t come anymore because it was too late. By this time it was almost midnight, and there were only two of us. Jessica’s cousin called and two of his friends were up in the mountains, we asked if he wanted to come with us and they did. So all 5 went up to Cheese Park and just started to sled. We were up there until 2:30ish. We thought we should probably go because it was pretty late and pretty freaking cold. I dropped off Jessica, and her cousin and his friends just left somewhere because her cousin had her own truck. Overall I thought that day was fun. The pathetic thing was the dance wasn’t even that fun and that’s why we did all that. It was a freezing night we will always remember.

mischief autobiography

My whole entire life I’ve just loved throwing stuff at cars. Whether it’s snowballs, wet toilet paper, or paintballs, it’s just fun. I don’t really know why, I just love the adrenaline you get when you totally drill a car. You can get into tons of trouble if you’re not careful enough, but if you’re professional like my friends and I you don’t get caught. So I’m gong to tell you a certain time we almost got caught throwing snowballs.

It was just an average, boring winter night at my friend Tanner’s house. We were just chillin in his room looking for something to entertain us. Being teenage boys we obviously wanted to cause some mischief. After a while of thinking, we decided to go throw some snowballs at cars. We all got our dark clothes on and set out to fourth east to go have a fun night.

Alright, we were a little nervous at first, just because we always are right at the beginning of the night. So to start off, we all got a snowball and hid behind this huge fricken tree right above the sidewalk. This little blue car just came flying down the street, and with our hearts pumping, we threw our snowballs at it. Since it was the first car of the night only like two of our snowballs hit the car. The person driving probably didn’t notice because he just kept driving down the road. We were all a little bit pissed that he didn’t stop, but eager to hit the next car that came by.

We all got a new snowball made and were waiting behind the same tree for a car. A car didn’t come, but a big, blue UTA bus did. My friend Tanner jumped our from behind the tree and yelled, “Busses can’t stop!” We all ran to the road with our snowballs and all of us pegged it like twenty times. Tanner was right because it never did stop. We were all super psyched because of this. We walked back behind the tree and made a bunch of snowballs so we could totally unload on the next few cars.

By now we were ready for serious action. We all were just waiting for some innocent person to drive by so we could destroy them. Far down the road we saw what looked like a van coming towards us. We all got a few snowballs ready to throw. As it passed probably five snowballs just hit the side of it freaking hard. They slammed on the brakes and we took off behind this random house we were at. The person just stood by his van and was checking it for damages. After seven or so minutes I guess he decided there wasn’t any and drove away. We had an idea he called the cops, and told them what had happened. We decided it would be in the best interest if we all took a little break and went back to Tanner’s to rest.

We set out again around 10:30 pm. As we were walking back to our comfortable throwing zone a big old Tahoe came flying down the road. With hardly any time to act, I whipped up a quick snowball and hucked it at least from twenty feet away. To my surprise I hit the side window. A big grin came over my face because I knew I was in the zone. My adrenaline was pumping a bit, and I felt like being chased by some angry man.

We finally got back to our big, safe tree. By now this tree felt like a second home to all of us. We got our snowballs made and now we were waiting for our next victim to drive by. No joke, like ten minutes later this super nice, new white truck was flying up the road. We all about wet our pant because we were all stoked to kill this truck. We knew this was the car we were waiting for all night long. We thought we could hit it better if we all spread out across the front yard we were hiding in. We each had a couple snowballs in hand, and this car was entering danger zone. One after another we all nailed this truck. It sounded like a bloody machine gun. We got him way good, and he knew it too. He slammed on his brakes and came sprinting towards us. We dropped the rest of our snowballs and belted into a dead sprint to hide from this guy. We were all scared crapless running through the snow, our adrenaline pumping harder than ever before. We were jumping over fences, and plowed through anything that got in our way. We got split up and ended up hiding in different yards. Being dead silent we heard in the distance, “If I catch one of you guys, I will kick your ass.” I just about passed out. I didn’t even move a muscle for seriously ten minutes. Once I did I went to my friend Gibson’s to wait for the rest of my friends.

Once we got there we agreed to call it a night. We all had a crazy Saturday night. It was really fun, and will probably never experience it again. Hey, we did get a guy to chase us though! But we will think twice before hitting the next truck that drives past us.
