Happy Anniversary!

Today Adam and I have been married for two years! It's crazy to think that is has been that long because it feels like yesterday. I am so grateful to be married to him and I love him more today than ever!

Here's the picture of Adam at our wedding with the bouquet.

Good Deal

Today we went grocery shopping. Randalls was having their ground beef on sale for 99 cents a pound. Well we went a little overboard and bought 20 lbs of beef! We weren't planning on buying the whole cow, but we figured we'll use it, and beef doesn't go on sale this good here in Austin too often. The limit was 2 packages and they were both about 10lbs each. So we spend about 20 dollars, but saved like 45. Good deal right? Another good deal we got tonight is we got 2 of the new kraft pure dressings for FREE! We had a manf. coupon to get one for free, but at Randalls they were having the same dressings on sale-buy one get one free. I asked the cashier if we could use both specials, and she said why not, and so we got two salad dressings for free. (Poppyseed and Balsamic Vinaigrette-in case you were wondering what kinds. :) )

Pile O'Beef-yum!

Ashley's Wedding

This past week we had the opportunity to fly to Florida for my friend's wedding. We hadn't seen her in over a year and half, and it was so nice to meet her new husband. They got married in the Orlando temple. It is such a beautiful one-pristine white! Adam and I made the flowers for the wedding party, including the bride's bouquet. Who knew that Adam was secretly a florist. We joked that he should open up his own business named "Olson-accounting and floral." Thanks to Adam's sister, Joni, for teaching us how to make boutonnières and corsages. Everyone loved them. Adam also got to be a groomsman. I was already a bridesmaid, and when Shawn's friend couldn't make it, Adam was asked to stand in. We laughed because Adam hates taking pictures (even our wedding he hated it), and so he thought he got off easy because he was only going to be in the one picture of everyone that came to the temple. Well it turned out he was in a lot more. :) Poor Adam. It's funny that he hates taking pictures, but he's so photogenic. It was a nice trip, short, but nice. She looked beautiful, and we hope to be able to see her and her new husband, Shawn, again soon!!

Working hard

Look how cute!! We have a picture like this at our wedding, and so I made Adam take one after he made this bouquet. It turned out perfect-just like Ashley wanted.

What's been going on lately

It seems like I've had lots to post about, but I'm about a week behind, so I decided to just post about a couple of things today. First I had a birthday-yay! Adam got me some beautiful roses (the purple ones are my favorite), and he made me strawberry cake with homemade strawberry frosting. Ever since I can remember I've loved strawberry cake, and it's a tradition to have it every birthday. The next thing that we've done recently is planted a little garden on on our porch. We bough a tomato and jalpeno plant and then planted from seeds radishes, lettuce, basil, and dill. We're starting to get some sprouting out. Hopefully we'll have some good eats by the end of the summer! (PS: I'm not sure why this is all underlined--I guess it's just very important:). But seriously, I tried to take away the underline option, but it wouldn't work-oh well).

The pretty roses

A pink princess pony balloon (one of the little girls that I work for had a pink princess pony birthday a few weeks ago, and I was telling Adam about it, and I guess he couldn't resist buying the pony balloons.)

Happy Birthday!

Graduation and Baby Shower

I went up to BYU to walk for graduation a couple of weeks ago. We had lots of fun, and loved the cooler weather. It was fun to see all of our friends and family. While we were there, Adam's family threw me a surprise baby shower. We got lots of cute clothes and blankets for our baby. Thanks to all of those who came!
