Beach

At the end of August we headed down to the beach. When we decided to move and told Tucker about it, we told him all the things he could do in Texas; visit his other grandparents, go swimming, go to the beach, etc. All summer he has been looking forward to visiting the beach. We had a great time! We went with my parents, sisters and new brother-in-law. Both boys LOVED it. They didn't even mind the salt water in the their face or sand everywhere. One day we took Charlie out in the waves and my dad held Charlie on a float and Chars loved just rocking in the waves. Tucker liked collecting seashells and building sand castles. Charlie also wanted to eat as much sand as he possibly could. Both Adam and I weren't too fond of that, but where do you place your child on the beach to redirect him from eating sand? :) We'll definitely have to make a trip to the beach again.

Allie was holding Charlie, and doing nosy nosy and for some reason he was so still for her. He stayed close to her face for a few minutes and we all laughed. I don't know if he was just mesmerized by Allie, or he liked smelling the mint in her mouth.

We also took a few family pictures before everyone left or leaves Texas.
This picture makes the water look super gross, but it really isn't. It is kind of brown, but I hear it's because in the Gulf it mixes with a lot of sand as water empties into it from the Mississippi River. So it's not like garbage water or anything. :)

New Tie

Looking good in his new Sunday shirt and tie.

Tucker's Birthday

We celebrated Tucker's 3rd birthday at my parents this year. He woke up with cinnamon rolls for his birthday breakfast and then Aunt Jessi took him to Chuck E. Cheese. It was his first time and he loved playing there. We had birthday pizza for dinner (I think this makes three years in a row now) and then we had cheesecake and cupcakes with family. Everything was Cars themed, and I found a website to make a pinata. I think it turned out cute...thanks to Aunt Jessi for assembling most of it. I think Tucker had a really fun day. The birthday weekend continued with Grandpa taking him to the Home Depot Kid Workshop the next day and fishing at Bass Pro Shop. What a lucky little boy.

Char's enjoyed cinnamon rolls as well. Love that bed head!
Opening Jessi's present. Tokens and gift certificate to Chuck E. Cheese
Since Kayle had cheesecake back in February for her birthday, that's what Tucker has wanted for his birthday
