Much needed girl time

My last party on Saturday consisted of girls, lingerie, alcohol and a scavenger hunt..of course, I'm talking about a bachelorette party! Miranda is getting married in July and it was time for the last "single" girl hoorah. The good times were ended with a scavenger hunt that had us running all over Keller looking for anything from a vegetable in a certain shape to a picture of a men's urinal (thank God that QT has clean bathrooms!!) I had so much fun just hanging out and being silly and I can't wait for their wedding!

Jan. b-day = summer swim party!

Brent turned 9 at the end of January but he decided to wait to have his party until summer time so that he could have a swim party. Of course, we weren't thinking at the time that it would be 100+ degrees in June, but that was just more reason to get in the pool, right? We had the party on Saturday and luckily David's parents have a pool and let us do it there so it was more relaxing then having to go somewhere. We had a great time with everyone that showed up and the bonus was that everyone got to leave with a tan!

My little water ninja..click on this..her form is so funny!

Precious Kellsey

Saturday was a little crazy but I am so glad that we did it all. It can sometimes be exhausting to run around all day, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. We are so lucky to have so many friends and I try my best to make it to as many of their little one's birthday parties as possible. Birthdays are so special to me and I love being able to share in those moments with everyone else. I can't believe that Kellsey is already 2. I swear this little girl is the most precious thing with her long eyelashes and the cutest little smile that includes a shoulder shrug! Staci did her party at McDonald's (what kid doesn't LOVE that?!) and it was a fun time. Happy Birthday Kells!

Go Team Beedo!

They are undefeated!! Their game this week wasn't until 10 pm but since I was kidless and had had a busy couple of days getting ready for Brent's party, a nice cold beer sounded REALLY good, especially in this heat. I also didn't want the guys to have 0 audience so I recruited Lucas and Crystal and I am so glad that we went. As much fun as it has been to go with the kids and let them all run around and play, I must admit that it was just as enjoyable to sit and have adult time and cheer for our team. With the crazy Sat. that I had waiting for me, it was the perfect relaxing Friday night.

Score: Brent's head - 1, ceramic pot - 0

So last night we ended up at CareNow at 9 o'clock at night...why, you might ask? Well, because Brent tripped and hit his head on a ceramic pot. He was at my mom's house and was trying to hide from Grandpa but also trying to rush to watch his tv show. He came through the dining room, which is carpeted, and somehow managed to trip right into a ceramic pot sitting in the corner. Now, I know that every kid falls and hits their head but do most kids crack a ceramic pot? Probably not, only my hard headed son! The damage to the pot is by far more extent than the damage to his head, luckily. He ended up with a little gash that they put skin glue on and then he also has a scratch on the side of his face with a nice size knot. You can't really see the knot in the pics, but it is starting to become that light greenish/black color so I'm sure it will be visible soon. The people at CareNow couldn't have been nicer and they also ended up taking x-rays just to be safe. It is easier to laugh about this now, especially once you see the pics of the poor pot, but it was a little scary last night. All I can say is that I am no longer worried about him getting a head injury while playing football, but I will definitely be praying for the other kids!

Keep in mind that he hit this thing from the left side but somehow cracked (or should I say shattered?) the right side

Kallie & Brook's 5th birthday

This weekend was crazy busy, as usual. Between school getting out on Thursday, Hawaiian Falls and softball on Friday, a swim party Sat. night and a swim birthday party Sunday, we also went to Spiral Gymnastics to celebrate Brooklynn & Kallie's 5th on Saturday. This was a really fun place for all the kids because the got to ride on a horse and then run around and do gymnastics. Even Brent and Tanner were truly enjoying themselves. I love going to all of these birthday parties and just watching all of these kids grow up together and interact. We are so blessed! Happy birthday girls!!

Friday Night Softball

All of the guys decided to start a softball team and they will be playing on friday nights out at Big League Dreams. David wants to play so badly but since he works 2nd shift he just can't. The really cool thing though is that they decided to name the team after him. When Scott and David were little, Scott nicknamed him Beedo and it stuck so that's what they are using. They had their first game this past friday and they won! The kids and I are definitely looking forward to going out every week to support team Beedo and also spend time with all of our friends. We are so lucky to have them all in our lives!

School's out for summer!

I cannot believe this school year is already over which means that I am now the mama of a 4th grader and a 1st grader! How did that happen?? It also means that Ryleigh officially graduated kindergarten :( So sad to see how fast she is growing up. Tio, Grammy, Grandma & Grandpa were all there to be a part of her big day and Brent's teacher even let him be there instead of going to class. We were in the second row directly in front of her and every song she sang she was looking right at me and beaming from ear to ear. She was so proud and I need to remember to invest in waterproof mascara. What a big day for both kiddos. For now though, it is time for fun in the sun!

All aboard the Mays Boy Express!

Last Saturday was Nolan and Hudson's birthday party at Trinity Park where the kids all got to run around, laugh, play and then ride the train. It was such a fun laid back party and the weather was pretty good too. The boys have been nicknamed Thing 1 and Thing 2 by their parents and so the theme was Dr. Seuss..it was perfect! Here are just a few of the pics :-)
