DeWitt Family

Here's a shot of the adoring big brother. Lukas is having a tough time adjusting to the change (throwing tantrums, waking up in the middle of the night, etc.) but thank goodness he takes out his frustrations on everyone except Brooklyn. He always wants to check and see where she is and if she's okay.

I know it seems like we've been MIA for the last few weeks and to be honest, it feels like it too. Let me clarify and maybe it'll make more sense...

1) Lukas, then me, then Brian all got a seriously bad stomach virus that wiped us out for a couple weeks. I even got admitted to the hospital for an evening.
2) Jason got home from Canada and we went to Snowflake for the 24th of July. (see previous post)
3) My sister, Valerie, and her family came down from Oregon to visit for about a week and we wanted to spend every possible moment with them. (pictures coming soon)
4) We went with the DeWitt's on a family vacation to a cabin in Strawberry for 5 days. (pictures coming soon)

Anyway, we got home today and I'm trying to get things under control around here before I go into labor. I've had several requests for info. on me and the baby and there's really nothing exciting to report but for those of you who speak pregnancy, last week I was at 1cm, 75%, and Brooklyn was at a -2. I did get personally chewed out by my doctor because the results of my hemoglobin test were really bad (which means that my anemia has gotten worse). He even threated me with a potential blood transfusion when I deliver so I've been cramming the iron pills in order to avoid that. I have another appointment tomorrow so hopefully I'll have some more positive news after that.

On a side note - Brian takes the MCAT test two weeks from Friday so we could really use all the extra thoughts and prayers you have to spare.
