Happy Holidays ***Long / picture heavy***

Here's a recap of our holiday activities....First up, Making Gingerbread {gram cracker} Houses:
This is by far one of Paige's favorite holiday activities. This was Brayden's first year to get involved in the action....and he LOVED it!
This is what his candy house looked like before he started eating it and it colapsed.
Paige's finished house...
Then later that night we got to decorate the Christmas Tree!!! It didn't get many decorations because Brayden thought the ornaments were "balls" and would take them off the tree and throw them.
"Ball"
Christmas Eve: We had dinner out at Brian's parents then came home and Brian pulled up the Santa tracker on the computer and showed the kids where Santa had already been.
After that I said "Let's go down stairs and open a present and the kids bolted down stairs.
Of course the present was P.J.'s and slippers....
Then Paige set out the milk and cookies, along with her letter and pictures for Santa.
Then she was off to bed, so EXCITED!!! And then Santa came and left some wonderful presents...
Paige and Brayden coming down stairs Christmas morning...{after Brayded slept in til 8:50 am...Merry Christmas Mom and Dad - he doesn't usually sleep through the night but he did that night!!!}
Brayden was more interested in what his sister was doing and drinking his bottle than opening too many presents....He did love his basketball and hoop though.
Here's Paige in her super hero mask....she plays with a couple boys in the neighborhood who play "super heroes", so we got her her own Mask, Crown and capes...now she can be, Batgirl, Super Girl, Flower Power, or Princess.
She found this microphone thingy at the store one day and carried it throughout the store asking if Santa could bring it....she was thrilled to see it in her stocking and said "Mom, Santa remembered".
The BEST surprise was that Brian got me a new lense for my camera....I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted it, but didn't know he had gotten it. I LOVE IT!!!
Here's a picture of my cute hubby taken with my new lense!!! Isn't he gorgeous?!?!?
AND Brian got a new PUPPY for Christmas....This is MOOSE!!! Now we have Grizzly our Chocolate lab and Moose our golden lab. He is SUPER cute, and will be more cute once he's potty trained. ;)
My dad made this picinic table for the kids...it's awesome!
New Year's Eve: We spent New Year's Eve at home with the kiddos....eating licorice, doing puzzles and banging pots and pans @ 9:30pm. Yep, we played and hung out til 9:30pm and then figured "heck, the kids won't know if it's midnight now or later" so we went out and celebrated the new year, then put them to bed and hung out til midnight in peace and quiet...it was lovely!!!
This is our version of "fireworks" for the new year!!!

Well the holidays came so fast this year, and passed just as fast...we had a great holiday season, and we hope you all did as well. We can't wait to make 2009 the best year ever!!! We love you all!!!
