The Adventures of Peace and Weed!

I was able to get my cookbook signed by her that my Sis-In-Law gave me this year for Christmas!

I was so excited to meet her & get her autograph and on top of that I was able to get my picture with her too!!!

I had texted Momma earlier that night "I don't know what I am going to say to her!!". Mom gave me an "in" by recommending to say: "My Mom is reading your book right now and loves it!" and let me say, PW has a talent, she didn't even hardly look at the cookbook to sign it and it is GORGEOUS! Such pretty handwriting! ;) and then I just started babbling like a crazy person about Charlie, the Tractor Wheels Story online, Thanking her for coming....she probably was like "Ooo, this one's a crazy one, I better watch out" but instead she said "You are adorable!" The picture flashed, I said "Have a great weekend!" and I was off center stage with her!

It was fun! and there were some ladies that I really thought they might pee in there pants after getting to talk to her! It was all really funny and heart warming!

AND an added BONUS! SHE BROUGHT MARLBORO MAN!!! I was able to get a few snap shots of him while a MOB of women were ALL over him to get their picture with him! He was such a good sport! and Thank you Court & Leslie for your awesome responses to my text of "MARLBORO MAN IS HERE!!!!" ;)

Thank you B for keeping P while I went out and oogled over Marlboro Man and got a quick pic with PW!

It was a great Friday night and a great way to start a weekend! :)

Cardinal!

Pierce has had so many snow days already in his life! I believe it has been at least 5, counting today! Some of them might have just been flurries in the sky, but I still count them! :)
Even though it took me 2 and 1/2 hours to get home tonight, I was so glad to get here with Pierce. B met us in the garage, so excited to see us safe and sound at home. We have been snuggly warm since we took our pictures this afternoon! Just wish we could sleep-in in the morning and stay in our jammiers all day! ;)

Today when I went to pick Pierce up from daycare, MJ tells me that one of the little girls that is in daycare with Pierce, Addie....her parents work at Kohl's and they brought each child the dog from The Grinch! SO SWEET! :)

Hoot Hoot! I have laughed all day with Pierce when I put this on him! and he will just look up at me like "what is wrong with this lady?" :) I got a wild hair and made this today, 2 patterns combined! ha! :)
