Well, it happened.... I wasn't sure when!


8/23/17
Pierce fell down our stairs. 
We went to Campbell Clinic after hours. 

It was swollen so, they weren't sure if there was a fracture under there or not to his elbow!
They are "better safe than sorry" sorts of people at Campbell's Clinic. 


I appreciate it!
We go back in a week to make sure nothing is broke.... so please say a prayer!
Bless him!  He was so big and brave!

Vacuum went to School for the 1st Time this year!!

Reid begged to take his vacuum.

We asked Mrs. Leatherwood.  She said yes!
So, here we are.... lugging this big ole thing in!!

He's happy.  I'm happy!  The world is spinning right!!!

8/21/17 - HAPPY ECLIPSE DAY!!!!!!

I was lucky enough to get to get Reid out of school early to race to Pierce's school to be with them to watch the eclipse! 
It was neat!! 
Unfortunately it came up a cloud and we didn't get to see it much!
But when it popped out it was amazing!!!


 Everyone being excited it was peeking back out!!
 :) 

 Then Reid saw Stella Estes!!! 
She was in his class last year at Macon Road!
They will be starting Kindergarten together next year at Lakeland!!!
 The eclipse!  ha!
 Pierce's class!!! With Miss Pruitt and the Superintendent, Mr. Howell!!!

It sort of looked dark, not really!  ha!!

Nurturing him.... Right??

We are leaving the neighborhood yesterday (8/20/17) and Reid notices one of the neighbors has their vacuum beside their trash can, NOT at the street, but BY THEIR HOUSE!  And this neighbor happens to be Jennifer, my point person at North!  He was like "What is wrong with her vacuum? Is it broke?"  I said I would text her!  She said it hadn't been turned on in a while and had been in the attic, but she said he could have it if he wanted it!  So, coming back into the neighborhood, I walked up her driveway and got it!  Lord, the things I'll do for my kids.  We brought it home, cleaned it up and he has been in heaven!  He has taken it apart like 100 times.  and I might try to find bags for it.... and see if we can really get him to keep using it for me!  ha! but I'm nurturing right?? :)  I know I am, I just needed a few people to tell me so!  :)

Two Days of Birthday Parties!!!

8/19/17-8/20/17
 Jackson and Reid

The boys that we lived down the road from on White Wing had a Nerf party!
They were so excited to see their friends!

 Walker looks like he is hurt but he is just being funny!! and lordy, look at Reid 

Then we raced to Coopers birthday swim party! 

 Desperate times call for desparte measures.... no fork yet, just bite into it!  ha!!

Then the next day we went BOWLING for Graham!!
Reid fell in LOVE!
He couldn't wait to start!!
 and Pierce and Graham were LOVING every point they got!!!

Family Pics!

We met up with our neight Anna to take some family pictures!
She was AWESOME to the boys!
She let them TELL HER how to pose them and she would take pictures and then she would sweetly place them the way she wanted!  ha!!

Holy Guacamole!!

 So, this is a lunch box at Old Navy,  but I took a picture of it instead of buying it!  ha!
but seriously to Holy Guacamole to Janelle and I being at Methodist 5 years (her) and 15 years (me)!!
8/18/17, Methodist gave us a lunch with good food and good company!  


and our point person at North, Jennifer, who is ALSO my neighbor (we figured that out about 3 months ago), got to come and support us!  So sweet of her taking time out of her day FOR US!
I enjoyed my company so much!
I remembered my 10 year with my old boss, Jane (who recently passed away).  

These are such lunches with great memories!

 My friend Sarah's dad is in my hospital, on one of MY floors!!  I got to spend 30 minutes with her the other day!!  MISS HER SO MUCH!
 Soccer has started back.
Reid entertained himself. 

We had fun!

Miss Caroline our next door neighbor was at the pool, with her friend Mallory!  They were so good to the boys!  They had such fun with them!!!!
Reid at first had his towels on the ground right beside her, then I helped him move a chair closer! 
She has an admirer!
