Contrary to popular opinion, I have not fallen off the face of the earth, though it would seem that way since I haven't posted or emailed anything for over a week. Let me explain. We were waiting to move into our new apartment until I was done with school. Well, I finished school and then we started moving every chance we got (our new home is just a mile down the street from where we were). Well, we finally moved pretty much everything on Saturday. We have everything except our computer which, after I am done writing this blog, will be completely reformatted and erased to fix a problem we've been having. So I haven't had access and I've been working like a maniac. My boss is on vacation in Florida and one of our main workers was supposed to be back from her trip on Monday but decided to stay until next week. Needless to say I have had next to no time this week. I will also not be able to post for a while because I won't have a computer until we get this up and running. To make a long story short...I'm sorry I haven't blogged for a while and I'm sorry I won't blog for a little longer. (we are going out of town for a week and a half and I don't know if I'll have Internet.) I love you all. Hope all is well for my few readers. Have a great week or two.
I'll try to check or post when I can but don't be too disappointed if you don't see anything.

I forgot!
I forgot to post about the awesome party that my sister threw for me. Saturday was the summerfest and I really just wanted to spend some time with my sisters. They fed me lunch then we walked over to the park. It was so much fun. I love my sisters. They are such an inspiration. And they are such good moms, I hope I can be like them!
I'm the Luckiest Birthday Girl!!
Yesterday was my birthday, I'm getting super old. It was a really good day. Except for the fact that the city is stupid because they don't know how schedule construction. I had class and I couldn't get there because all the roads around my house were blocked off. Frustration! Luckily, my teacher was a little late too so I didn't miss anything. Then the rest of the day, I spent working on my oral presentation for my English class. Yippee! That was the last English class I have to take and its over! I have the most amazing hubby. When we got home he made me dinner. We had steak kabobs, chicken kabobs, and, my greatest confession, mushroom and red onion kabobs (Sidenote: Anyone who really knows me knows that I hate onions and I hate mushrooms, but they they are Barbequed they are delicious, the onions don't taste like onions and they need to be red onions not yellow, mushrooms are delicious BBQ'd because it just brings out the good texture (stuffed mushrooms are good too, especially the ones my friend Nicole makes) so there you have it, I like mushrooms and I like onions.) We also had BBQ corn on the cob and a salad that I really like. It was soooo good! After dinner Travis wrapped my surprise presents. I had no idea what it was but Trav built it up so much that I was so excited. He got me PS2, crazy huh, more specifically, he got me Guitar Hero and another game that came free called popsinger star (surprisingly fun since I don't really like to sing). He is the greatest. We spent the rest of the night jammin'!!!

Birthday with Trav's Family
Sunday night we went over to Travis' house to celebrate Father's Day and my birthday. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to all of Trav's Family for making my birthday so great. And for the perfect gifts. Travis took some pictures of the kids that I wanted to share, they are so cute!
This is Trav's brother, Brent showing little Tanner how to light the candles. Tanner helped put the candles in the cake too. My mom-in-law was so amazing, she made my favorite kind of cake, pistachio.
These are the cute twins, Ella and Luke. Sorry the picture is turned, but you can still see how cute they are.
Cute, cute Lily. We were out playing on the rides (I don't know what they are called), they have a spring or something that lets you ride them like a horse. That's my hand on the back. She tell me to "stop" shaking the elephant, then she'd tell me to "go." It was a fun game, I can't believe how long she made me do it. Then she made me get on and she would move it for me. It was so funny.
These are some of the cool presents I got. Travis gave me Stardust (current favorite movie) and the second book in the Twilight series (current favorite books). I love the Ultimate Gift (best movie ever, if you haven't seen it you are not complete) it is the ultimate gift you can give someone, my parents-in-law gave that to me along with some amazing stuff to help me organize my scrapbook stuff (very much needed). Brent and Stefenee gave me vinal that I can cut with my cricut and make cute words to decorate my new apartment (this was also the perfect gift because I had really been wanting some of this but I couldn't seem to get over to the craft store to get some). Thanks Everyone!!!

I Chopped it off!

Before:
About two weeks ago I cut off all my lovely locks for a better cause. I know mom wanted to see my new haircut. So here it is for all of you who haven't seen it yet. The new picture actually isn't very good because I had to buy a new hair dryer and I'm not used to it so the style isn't how I like it but I will do. Love Ya'll!

Don't See P.S. I Love You
I noticed that a lot of my siblings' fears are that they will lose a loved one. I have some advice. Don't see the movie P.S. I Love You. It was the saddest movie ever. It was actually really good but I cried so hard because the woman's husband dies and the rest of the movie is about her coping with it and how cute he was because he arranges for letters to come to her from him telling her to go out and do things instead of sitting at home. The end was so sad. I suggest you don't see it because I cried for twenty minutes after it was over. Travis was holding me and, I think, getting a little frustrated because I was so emotional. If you want a tear jerker then this is the one for you but if you don't want anything sad watch the new Indiana Jones. (its action packed!)

Help!
So, I'm in the process of writing a paper for my Engl 315 class and I can't seem to get in the groove. I'm having such a hard time concentrating and getting focused. I can't find enough sources and when I do I don't know what to write. Any suggestions? I especially want advice for any of you readers who have been to school spring or summer term or those of you who have had this problem before. I have to write this before Monday. Help!
P.S. My topic is Teen Depression and I have to be persuasive about how we can't ignore the problem.

Okay, I'm Tagged
Since I really want to start blogging more, I'm going to play the tagging game. Since my sister tagged me and I don't know anyone else who is blogging who wasn't tagged by her, consider this a tag to anyone who hasn't been and is reading this. Okay here we go: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 obsessions, 3 random facts.
3 Joys:
1. My cute and enduring hubby, Travis!
2. Puppies! I can't help it. I just love puppies and dogs of all shapes and sizes. I think I get it from my mom.
3. My mommy and daddy. Whenever I talk to them, I can't help but smile because they know just what to say when I'm down and need a friend.
3 Fears:
1. Spiders. Like Becky I have a clinical phobia of them. I literally scream and start crying if I see one. Believe me, it's bad.
2. Failing a test. I don't know why but I get anxiety when I'm about to go in to take a test. I always do just fine but I am totally afraid that it is going to be impossible and I'll fail it.
3. Crowds of People. Am I totally anti-social. Yup, I guess I am. I hate big parties with lots of people because it gives me anxiety and I sometimes start to panic.
3 Goals:
1. Finish school and get my bachelors degree.
2. Get my house and stuff organized. We are moving and I have stuff everywhere. I bought bins so that I can store stuff in them but I don't have time to do anything until the semester is over. Hopefully, I can organize before we move but probably not.
3. Save money for a Graduation trip to Argentina. This trip is dependent on the first goal.
3 Obsessions:
1. CSI. Trav and I have been borrowing the seasons of CSI from our friends and we watch them whenever we get a chance.
2. Collecting Scrapbook stuff. Unfortunately, I just collect the stuff because I can't seem to find time to actually do anything with it.
3. Doing perfect in school. This is a horrible obsession because I get way to stressed out about it but I can't help it. I have to be perfect.
3 Random Facts:
1. I've been bit by an armadillo. It was in Argentina and I was feeding it a cracker and it bit my finger instead. (they don't have teeth just really powerful strong jaws. It hurt!)
2. I love Lifehouse. They are my favorite band and I can't get enough of them.
3. I can't stand feet. Now, I've gotten better because I have a hubby and I let him touch me with them sometimes. But overall, I hate feet. I don't like touching them, smelling them or looking at them for extended periods of time.
There you have it. Oh, and if anyone has any pointers as to how to get my blog up and running (play list, blogger links, etc.) please call me or let me know because I'm totally confused.

And it begins...
Well, I am officially blogging now. I created one or two other blogs but I wasn't happy with the name. I am now going to keep this one because I think its clever. I hope someone out there will read this sometimes. Oh, and bare with me as I learn how to deal with all this blogging technical stuff.
