Baby #2
We wanted to let everyone know that we are expecting baby #2!
I am 15 weeks pregnant and my due date is November 5. However, my doctor said he would induce me at 39 weeks because Ellen was so big (9 lbs 2 oz) when she was born. That means we should have our little one with us before the end of October! We're excited to have these two kids about 21 months apart. We'll have an ultrasound and hopefully find out the gender in mid-June.
Thankfully, I wasn't sick at all during the first trimester (and good thing since that's when we moved), but I was really tired. Ellen still takes two naps a day and for a few months, I took two naps too! I have felt like I have a lot more energy the past week or so and some of those lingering boxes are starting to get unpacked!
Mother's Day
I had a great Mother's Day. Jeff let me sleep in and then made me breakfast in bed. Yum! He also got me some beautiful flowers and some makeup I really wanted. Thanks, Jeff, for making it a wonderful day! I love being a mom!

Sleeping
Jeff took this picture the other morning when he went to get Ellen up in the morning.
How is that comfortable?

Chuck E Cheese
Last night we decided to go to the Chuck E Cheese that is just down the street from where we live. We got pizza and some tokens to play some of the games. Jeff really enjoyed reliving his childhood, though he did confess he remembered it being bigger.
Ellen did really well with all the stimulation. She was totally in awe with Chuck E Cheese and enjoyed riding the little carousel. We had her go on most of the little rides that you can sit in.
We love this face that she makes whenever she's really interested in something and says "oooo"

Utah Trip
We got to take a quick (48 hour) trip to Utah last weekend. It was cold, rainy, and even snowed one morning while we were there--we loved it! We don't get to enjoy that weather often enough here at home.
We got to visit lots of family and friends. We just basically went from one house to another. Sadly, I didn't always remember to get my camera out and take a picture with those we visited. Here are a few pictures we did get.

Visiting Gramps and Grandma Gailey
We stayed at Grandma Brinkerhoff's house in Orem, but she was staying at a rehabilitation center recovering from surgery. We got to visit her a few times while we were there.
We were able to go to a get-together with my mom's side of the family. It was so fun to see so many cousins and relatives! My mom was also in town helping my younger sister move out of her apartment at the end of the BYU semester.
My cousin, Amber, and I with our kids.
Ellen spent half of the night following my aunt's dogs around. She LOVES dogs and is so fascinated by them, but kind of whimpers when she's around them. It is hilarious to watch.
We got to see anther dog at Jeff's aunt's house. These pictures very accurately portray the way she was holding her hands out in front of her whenever she approached the dog.
Visiting Grandma on our way to the airport.
Thanks to everyone who welcomed us into their homes! Our trip was too short and there were so many others we would have loved to see!
