Wow. It's official. I'm a terrible blogger. Well, I guess it's time for a quick catch up cuz there have been quite of a few changes from July 2010. And today is June 15, 2011!! (Yes, June 15th. The title says March 29th-that is a day when I attempted to make a post, but didn't finish) Ah! Where has the time gone? First off, hello! It's nice to write you again... to whoever is out there reading my belated posts. I hope I can remember what all has happened since my last post. I will start with the furthest back event I can remember...
I turned 25 in August! Jas and I traveled to Utah and spent a few wonderful days with family. It's so funny, I still feel like I'm a kid and 25 seems way too old...even tho I know it's not really that old. Have I really been alive this long? I guess so! My mom was way cute, she threw a Birthday Luau! Very fun! We had a different gathering this year because it was also Kelly's (my mom's now husband) birthday a few weeks before, so we had a combined party and I had the opportunity to meet his family. They are lovely people, and have some adorable little ones too.
In September, I starting teaching dance again!! One of the sweetest ladies I know, Leann, asked if I would help her out this year with her oldest dance classes while she was pregnant. Her studio is called Danceworks, located here in Ft. Collins. What darling girls I have!! This year has reminded me just how much I've missed dancing! I also am taking a dance class with my cute friend RaQuelle taught by the talented Polly at Contemporary Dance Academy. Boy, do I have some work to do to get back to where I was before we moved.
October was quite an eventful month. My mom was married on the 20th to Kelly Jensen, and she was an absolutely beautiful bride. Jason and I were lucky and found some inexpensive plane tickets so we didn't have to drive across Wyoming...again. There have been quite a few difficult changes this year, but things are looking up! My mom seems so happy. Her wedding was super fun with a yummy dinner and dessert and dancing (of course!). Love you Mom!
November was a big month! I decided to throw Jason a surprise birthday party for his big 30th!!!! Yay! Boy, was Jason surprised! Thanks to all of our friends who came and helped!! You are wonderful and we value your friendship!! We also traveled to Utah again for Thanksgiving! We spent the day and had our feast with Jason's cute family, and went to my Mom's for dessert. Unfortunately, my Dad had to work through Thanksgiving (darn airlines!), but I was lucky and spent a few fun filled days with him when was home. For the first time EVER, I did the whole black friday thing...kinda-it was still Thursday technically. My lil sis Tay, Kaye (my amazing mother in-law), Mandy, Kandus, & Jessie (my sis in-laws) went to Park City to find all the deals! Awesome!! We had a blast and I purchased almost half of my Christmas in ONE night! Sweet. Thanks for an awesome time girls! Love you ;) Also in November, I was put in as the Laurel advisor in our ward! I absolutely love it! The girls are so beautiful and talented. The leaders...AMAZING! I love these incredible women. Oh, how blessed I am!
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas!! December was, of course, all about Christmas. I love that time of year. We again got lucky and flew home to Utah for about a week. It's always so nice to be with family over the holidays. Hopefully, this Christmas we will be just as lucky. It was a very different Christmas, now that we have three places to visit. We spent Christmas Eve with Jason's family, Christmas morning with my Mom, and the evening with my Dad and my extended Keck family. YES!! He was home on Christmas! A beautiful miracle! It was a wonderful day to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
Basically I can summarize January, February, March & April in two words. Busy Season. My life is consumed by taxes. However, as I mentioned before, I am also teaching dance and Body Jam during all of this. So each week has around 60-65 hrs at work, 7 hrs of teach dance, 1 hr of Body Jam class time, and 2 hrs for YW, and recently I've had a plethora of doctor visits. This leaving hardly any time to sleep, let alone relax. My poor husband listens to me complain way too much. Gosh, I am lucky to have him to keep me grounded. And to top it off, our generous government gave us until the 18th of April to file individual and partnership tax returns. Lovely. I got to work an additional weekend and Monday. Let's just say, I was reaady for the 19th of April. Fortunately, We've had several visitors come to see us! I love it when that happens!! It makes working this hard while Jason's in school so worth it! Thanks to Kaye & Marion, Jessie, Dad & Ingrid, Mom, Kami, & Taylor for visiting and helping keep my sanity intact.
May was a fun month! Throughout my life, every May is dance recital time! It was something I looked forward to every year. Well, since we've moved to Fort Collins, I haven't been a part of one in the last 2 years. This year I had my own!! After a year of hard work and dedication, Danceworks was ready for a spring recital. It came off beautifully. Thank you ladies! Love you! Also in May...Jason started his fourth and final year of Vet School!!! Wow! I can't believe it has been three years already! This year is quite different as he is at the hospital and working. He has a new rotation about every two weeks, and he is already on his third! He is extremely busy, and is at the hospital quite a bit more. I hardly see him :( but I knew it was coming so I am staying busy. I love you, honey!
We haven't been home in awhile, so I am getting a little home sick. I miss our family and friends! However, I am planning a trip home over the 4th of July weekend! Our car has many things that need fixing, and Jason really wanted to have his mechanic in Utah work on it for us. Fortunately, Jessie came to see us this past weekend, so we swapped her cars. So, I will be driving (alone-Jason has to be at the VTH) to Utah on July 1st!! Yahoo! Hope I make it all the way across. Yikes.
One last piece of huge news...We are going on a cruise!! Amazing, huh?! In May, we celebrated our 5th Anniversary, and we decided a cruise would be our present to each other. Great idea, right?! We both cannot wait! We will be leaving on July 31st for a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, Montego Bay, Jamaica, & Cozumel, Mexico! We are so excited we can hardly stand it. Hopefully, we can finally relax!
Well, that's what's been going on with us lately! Sorry if this post sounds like a diary entry; I was trying to be very informative. Wow, well in a few months I will be 26! It's almost been a year. Hopefully, I will not get this behind from now on. I will also try to post some pictures over the next fews days from the past few months. We love and miss you all!!!

Finally Updates!!
Wow, I am so behind! There has been so much going on lately that I have totally forgotten to update this blog. I guess I am not very good at this kinda thing ;) In the posts below there are a bunch of pics from most of the big things going on over here. Enjoy!
The most recent and biggest part of our summer is that we decided to move into a new apartment!! WAAAHHOOOO!! The location is only about 2 miles away from where we were, but it is a huge improvement. There is no train right next to my window, we aren't on a busy road so we don't hear crazy people talking & loud cars all night, our neighbors seem pretty normal and friendly, our living room doesn't smell of smoke, there is a pool!, the kitchen and bathroom actually look like a kitchen and bathroom...in one word, amazing!! We haven't taken many pictures, but as soon as we do I will post them! Yay! It's so nice to come home to a sunny, beautiful apartment. Thanks to Tyler, Kyle, Ashley (& lil Cache!), Jared, Tyler, and Brian for all of your help moving all of the big stuff! You are wonderful! We are completely moved out of the old place and it is spic and span! Carpets are being cleaned as we speak. We are probably about 95% moved into our new place! So, we can finally relax a bit! We can't wait to have everyone over to see it!
One more thing! Jason and Marion are going to a Vet conference in Colorado Springs this weekend, and Kaye and I are coming along. I am so ready for a day off, and am super excited for the two of us to have a girl's weekend together! Stress free weekend here I come!

Body Jam!
4th of July!
We spent some good quality time together with our families over the 4th of July! We had fun playing bad mitten, some ball-throwing game, croquet, card and board games, eating great food, fireworks...I could go on and on! Thanks everyone for all of the fun!!
Baseball with Dad & Tay!
So, my Dad works for Delta Airlines, and he had the opportunity to do the charter planes for the San Francisco Giants! He work his magic and got us amazing seats over the 4th of July weekend to the Giants vs the Rockies game! (Yes, I know. Can you believe how many baseball games I have been to over the past 2 years? I guess I am a pretty good wife, huh! jk...kinda). I had a total blast with you guys! Thanks Dad and Tay for coming over to see us! I absolutely love it! We love and miss you! See some of the pics we took at the game below:

Tay's 6th Grade Graduation!
Wow! So I am definitely way behind on updating our blog! Taylor, (the lil sis) graduated from Heritage Elementary in June 2010. And boy, is she excited to be going to Jr. High!! I remember when I went to Kaysville Jr. High my mom was pregnant with Tay!! Wow! That makes me feel pretty old :( Ha ha!! Well, here are some fun pictures we took that day! Congrats Tay, and good luck at KJH! (...Sorry Kami, your pics are on my other memory card. They will be coming soon though!!)

Isn't she so beautiful and all grown up!?!

I Feel Loved...
Thank you Lott family for sending me these beautiful flowers today! They just made my day! It is Spring Break over here in Colorado, and I told Jason it would be okay if he went home for the week. Unfortunately, it's busy season and I am working like crazy so I couldn't go with him. So, thank you all for thinking of me. I needed a lift big time today! I love and miss you!

Colorado Eagles Game!
Jason and I also went to a Colorado Eagles hockey game a few weeks back. My boss has season tickets and asked us if we wanted them for a night! They were absolutely terrific seats! Right in the action! Here are some of the pics I took. They aren't the greatest quality cuz they were taken on my old, cheap phone ;) but enjoy!

Here in Colorado...
Now an update on what is going on over here in Colorado. I have now officially started busy season and am working... A LOT! Wasn't April 15, 2009 just last week?! Jason is back in school moving into the 2nd half of his 2nd year! Yahoo! We are both way busy, so it is a little difficult to find time to just relax and be together. However, we have done a few things together. We went to the Denver Stock Show a weekend in January. We spent an entire day walking around booths, watching the auctions, looking at a lot of cows... Jason was having a good ole time, I didn't really understand half of what was going on, but we had a nice day together! I really need to get use to this kind of stuff. It is a whole different world to me; plus I think I was the only person there without cowboy boots on. Jason probably would have had more fun with his Dad, but at least I tried! Here are some pics!

Also, I teach Body Jam here in Fort Collins at the Raintree Athletic Club. We just our new music launch January 31! Unfortunately, I was pretty darn sick that day, so I look pale and yucky :( I am just happy I made it through the entire class! Here are some pics I took of me and the girls. Aren't they just gorgeous?!
