The Rest of the lost pictures

Lets hope this works! Or lets hope all the other pictures don't decide to come back or you get to see them several times! Oh well, enjoy!

More of the Lost pictures

More pictures

I am adding a few at a time. I can see the pictures every time so how will I know if you can't see the pictures?

Lost pictures

So apparently the pictures I posted before didn't show up. If they did, well I guess you get to see them again! I added a few extras this time so a couple more to look at. And if they don't show up again I will try until they do. Let me know if you see them.

Wow, another month just blew by! I'm sure I did a million things but I only remember a few. The week before Halloween Kade & I went to this amazing Halloween party! There was a palm tree maze. Yes, I know what you are thinking... where I come from it's a corn maze! Yay for Florida! It was so much fun and Kade got to be a little monkey because his other costume wasn't quite finished. Also this month Mike's family went to Rexburg to visit the other kids. We knew they would be fishing and having fun and we were feeling sorry for ourselves so we spent a good portion of our day in the Bass Pro Shop pretending like we didn't feel bad that we weren't in Rexburg. Fall is so fun in Rexburg! It's a little sad not to see the leaves changing and putting on our winter hat and sweaters but when I start to feel sad about it I step onto the back porch and from 19 stories up take in beautiful palm trees, the sun and the beauty that is Florida! When Mike has a few minutes to spare we like to go exploring. We have seen some very interesting things lately and I think when I said I was moving to Miami you thought I meant Miami Florida USA, but what I really meant was Miami, not in this country Florida! I don't have pictures but will be sure to take some next time. Mike finished his wonderful semi-pro flag football season. They went all the way to the end and then lost the last game by 6 points. We all know the only reason anyone plays intramural sports is for the t-shirt. So after they lost we were thinking, ah bummer, no t-shirt this year...then the ref. said they get shorts!! If they knew that I'm sure they would have played harder! Shorts, I mean really, who gives shorts? So that was a sad day in the neighborhood but Mike got over after about 5 days of beating himself up about bad passes and what not. Every wife of an intramural professional knows how that is. Haha! Last but not least we celebrated Halloween at the Trunk or Treat. Kade was a motocross rider made specially by Grandma Steel and inspired by the Steel boys. I bet you would have never guessed that! This dirt bike business runs deep, it's in the blood! Mike was a good sport and we were the Blue Man group! Very scary blue men at that but it was a lot of fun and an easy last minute costume. We are lucky enough to get to see the voting line from our place. I kept watching the line looking for the best time to go so finally we stood in line Friday for 2 1/2 hours (which didn't seem too bad) but I'm so glad it's over with. So this is way longer than I expected and I'm sorry but that pretty much concludes our October.  Oh  yeah, I also finished the pumpkin pillow that Kinley and I started way back in...I can hardly remember...maybe March! Lame I know but that's the way the cookie crumbles

Sad Blog Happy life

Okay so I really don't know what I'm doing with this whole blog thing. I'm sure you can tell! I never thought I would have a blog and then next thing you know I live 1500 miles from the nearest relative & friend...and now the blog! There is so much to say I'm not sure where to start. Kade had his first birthday last month and of course got a motorcycle from the Grandma & Grandpa Steel! It's in the blood. So, Florida is beautiful. We live where others vacation. What a dream! Mike is a student by day (and loves it!) and a semi-pro football player by night. The Podiatry students have a flag football team and you know how that is! You'd think recruiters for the NFL were going to be there or something, it's that serious! It reminds me of good old BYU-I intramural days. Good stuff. Kade and I just hang out doing the Mom and baby thing. You all know how that goes! You are super busy all day long but when the Dads asks what you did all day you really don't know because you did a million little things and can't remember any of it! Ha, or maybe that's just me. Anyway, we are always up for visitors. We miss Idaho & all our friends but love Florida and our new friends! Hang in there while I figure this blog thing out. Until then, just laugh at me.

This is a P.S. for Kinley... We saw your EXACT car Sunday around here the other day and  it even had a 1M license plate, I was so happy I didn't know what to do with myself! Then I had to tell myself, I am in Florida not Idaho, the Ricks' aren't here. Sad day. I still want to know who it was and I hope that I do see you in Florida someday! That's dumb I know but I had to tell you!

Hello Sunshine

Life in Florida begins.  Kade loves the beach, and we're not opposed to it either!

Life in the Sunshine State

Wow! The only thing I can remember is that it seemed like something picked us up, spun us around, it was blurry for a while then out we came. I'm not sure how it all happened, it happened so fast and then we landed! Somehow we landed in Miami Florida. We are here now. Mike started Podiatry school in August and so far we love it. So much is happening here and we know so much is happening everywhere else too. This is our attempt to keep in touch with friends and family. So here it is, our life in the Sunshine state!
