The High Talker

Craig thinks I've done something to his son to make him a high talker all of a sudden. Even threatened to take him to school with him so he can hear some manly voices. This last week Caleb has really started the conversations to himself and with Sherman of course. He loves his puppy and is fascinated by him quite a bit.

Standing Tall - Standing Alone

Almost since birth - Caleb has loved standing up (with our help of course). He is now starting to be able to balance himself pretty well so that we don't always have to hold him up. Before you know it, he'll be walking before he ever learns to crawl. He doesn't like his tummy time very much. Probably because of his tummy troubles!

My Puppy and Me

Caleb and the puppy are learning how to handle one another. Caleb has begun to grab onto things including Sherman's collar and ears. Sherman has been very good so far. We spend a lot of time talking to Sherman while Caleb explores the use of his hands.

And even with the "torture" of a little brother... Sherman adores Caleb. They love to cuddle together all the time.

More Giggles

I finally got Caleb to laugh for me. It's been a chore. He loves to laugh at everyone else. He has such a cute personality.

4th of July

Holiday Weekend Fun!

The 4th of July was fun. Caleb did the fun run with Papa Gardner at our ward breakfast early in the morning. We then went home and took a family nap. It was so nice. Then we went to BBQ wit h the grandparents and watch fireworks. Caleb loved the lights.

Saturday - we decided to go to the Isotopes baseball game with friends and to watch fireworks. The game started out gorgeous - but then in the 6th inning we got rained out... the delay was only an hour and a half. About about 10 minutes we were soaked and headed home. But Caleb loves to go to baseball games.

People Food???

So we went to Costco to do a little shopping and Caleb got a little hungry. So the only thing available w hile in the store was a Berry Smoothie. He LOVED it. The next day he wasn't eating very well but was acting very hungry. We decided to try a little applesauce. I think more ended up on Dad than in Caleb's mouth...but he loves Smoothies and Applesauce.

Water - Oh No!

Thanks to our apartment complex for turning off our air conditioning - we went and stayed with grandma and grandpa for a few days. Caleb had his first experience swimming in grandpa's endless pool. Of course he was wearing his new (ADORABLE) swim suit. It has an elephant on the pants and of course a wet suit top!

I was really shocked that he didn't scream - it was a lot of fun. We can't wait to take him back for more.
