So I decided it would be neat for Caleb's first birthday to have "professional" portraits done. We had a coupon that I thought would be great. I set the appointment for 1p of Fri 2/20. We got there right on time and sat and waited. Then we waited some more. And finally sat waiting still. At 1:45p we finally entered the studio room. Caleb of course hadn't had a nap all day and was slightly tired. He was a little difficult to work with be after a half hour we had some great photos. So as we looked through them ...the gal took the next person and started her session with us sitting there. Again --waiting. We finally ordered our pictures. Now the coupon didn't really do much. I wanted the CD and it used to be $10...but no it was $100.00 That's right! I didn't want to order every picture. So i did the "Bronze" package -- and ended up at $130.00! It was 3:30p by the time we left.

Never again. If we do pics --we'll go to walmart or something. That was so ridiculous. Anyhow. Because I own the pics now.. I thought I'd share a few of my favorite with you. And for family --- i had prints made for you as part of the package...so just be patient. They arrive March 10th and then I will mail them. Consider them an Easter present.

I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by. My once baby is now a full blown toddler. I adore him!

I can't believe it. His first birthday come and gone. It was such a fun day. We shared it with many friends. We ate hot-dogs and hamburgers and had cake and opened presents. It was a lot of fun. Caleb wasn't too sure about opening the presents and as each new toy was opened up every one year old was glued to it. At one point each of them had their own favorite to play with. It was so cute. The best part was when the learning table came out and all four of them came together to play. Enjoy the pics....not a lot but good!
