We have been doing lots of day trips this summer.  We went to a Dragon's baseball game, breakfast with dinosaurs from China at the Boonshoft Children's museum, King's Island (a local amusement park), an alpaca farm, and the Newport Aquarium, just to name a few of our summer highlights.
O.K.... I need to update my blog.  I got a new computer and I am in the process of transferring everything over.  I should actually have a new blog site pretty soon that will be greatly improved. So the recent news is that Aaron has broken his hand, (correction, Zachary broke Aaron's hand by jumping on it.)  They put it in a splint type cast so that he can take it off to do surgery.  How lame is that!  He had his cast for all of four hours before he broke it while he was cutting down a tree outside. But don't be alarmed because he has jerry rigged it with hangers, so all is well.  True to form, Aaron is taking care of himself.  Can you catch the slight hint of sarcasm?  Aaron also had his PPD (a screening for tuburculosis) come back positive.  He had a chest x-ray done and there are no signs of TB.  They think that he has just been exposed, so he is on antibiotics for nine months.   The side effects from the antibiotics have been pretty mild, so we are fortunate.   Other than Aaron giving me hives, we have had a pretty good summer.  The girls start school again next week.  I am taking things light this year.  I will continue voice and piano lessons, in addition to taking French.  I will start up heavy again once we have moved to our next location, wherever that may be.

Aaron has just finished his fourth year of a surgical residency program. He is now officially a Chief with one year to go before he is snatched up by the Air Force to serve where ever they see fit. He is doing well, residency keeps him pretty busy. We see him occasionally, and love it when we do.

This is Kaylee. She is the ultimate valley girl. Kaylee loves all things girl. Anything that sparkles or that is pink instantly gets her approval. She has a musical streak, she loves to sing, but does it when no one is looking. She hates cleaning, doing homework, or anything else that is not her idea. She is a cute one, we think we will keep her.

This is Kamryn. She is fanatical about dinosaurs. She is our resident guru. She loves to read, draw, and paint. She is quite the artist. She hates to practice the piano, a torture that mom makes her endure. What a mean mother, ha ha ha!!!

This is Zachary. He is two, he will be three in September. He likes trains, airplanes, trucks, music, and fireworks. He is terrified of ants and water. We hope he will outgrow that.
