Friends

I love these three.   And I love that they love each other.   I hope they continue to love each other as they grow older and find that they not only can be brothers and sister, but also great friends.

To Dairy or Not to Dairy??

So here is some food for thought. (Pun definitely intended.) I love dairy. Like, I love it so much I really could never even think about taking it completely out of my diet permanently. You name it, I love it. Milk? By the glass fulls. Cheese? Please! Ice Cream? Ummmm is that really a question??  So, I have gone 18 days without dairy because I am doing the Advocare 24 Day Challenge. (Which I have LOVED! Ask me about that later.) It has been hard, but I figure that it is only 24 days. I can do it.  Except, last night. I cheated. Just a little. I couldn't let Kennedi waste a perfectly (small) bowl of cereal go to waste right??!! So, I ate it. It was DELICIOUS. I mean, one of the best tasting things that I had had in a long time. I knew that it was cheating and I knew that I wasn't really supposed to be eating something like that until day 25 or so (yeah right, like I would have lasted past day 25). But for those few moments, I was in cereal heaven. And then......................

Growing Kohen

Kohen is growing up way too fast.  He is already a typical male....he loves his big boy food, and he LOVES his Momma!!  This post is dedicated to that. I know these photos don't show that he loves his food, but I promise you, he does.  I think this was his first time trying green beans or something.  I just love every one of his faces.    Snuggle time with Mom... Holy smokes, I love this kid.  It is just incredible.

Wait, you mean we JUST had Father's Day?  Wait, you mean I am a month behind on my blogging?  Oh that's right, this is Heidi we are talking about!  haha.  Yes, I am blogging about Mother's Day, but I can't go out of order and this is what is next. Mother's Day was wonderful this year.  Kennedi's preschool had a Mother's Day celebration where they put on the cutest little program ever.  I somehow think that EVERY program that one of my kids will be in will be THE cutest program ever.   Margaret, Kennedi's teacher, did such a great job.  The kid's looked so cute and they really new their songs and parts! I walked into her classroom to see this.....They were DARLING!! She is such a little model.  I just told her to look at me and she posed.    They gave us a fun candy treat and a plant.  She was so excited to give it to me. For Mother's Day, Jerrod made an amazing breakfast of Crepes.  The kids got me a CD. ...
