Can you believe Zoey is 1? I sure can't. Zoey turned 1 on Thursday March 28th. We are celebrating Zoey's birthday this saturday with all her friends!!
I was trying to figure how I could sum Zoey up in 3 words, but I can't. She has such personality and is so sweet, words don't come close to describing how adorable she is.  Zoey got a baby and a stroller from my mum for her birthday and if you ask zoey to feed her baby, she will grab the babies bottle and actually put it to the babies mouth! I just can't believe how smart she is, she picks up on things very easily. She's starting to repeat a lot more words now too.
New words: Dog, NO, Duck, uh-oh.
I am so happy that Zoey is apart of our family and couldn't imagine life without her.

We went to Olive Garden for her birthday, Zoey was trying to color! She was watching me coloring, so she then grabbed the other crayons and made a few scribbles, I couldn't believe it. This year has really flown by, it feels like only yesterday when we brought her home from the hospital.

It is official, as of last week Zoey has been taking a few steps. Each day she has become braver and braver in her steps. She is so cute when she walks, she looks like a drunken sailor, sometimes lol.
So I decided to film it, so here you go.

Zoey is such a good eater! Over the last few weeks we have gradually been introducing her to
grown-up food and she's been loving it so far. She specially loves bananas, scrambled eggs and of course chocolate. One of her new favorite words lately is Mmmmm...... she says this I swear whenever you put food in her mouth, she's so funny.

On saturday we went to the Zoo with our friends the Dibbs. It was probably one of the nicest days we've had in awhile. Don't get me wrong it was still cold, but the weather couldn't have been any better, seriously clear blue sky. We had tons of fun walking around the park, apart from the fact that half the park was closed for reconstruction. I think Zoey's fav part was seeing the seals, she loved it. Any time she saw an animal she was so cute, she would point and say "wha is tat" she was animated and so adorable as she was taken it all in. Stella who is one of Zoey's besties was so fun to watch also, she is so smart for her age and was very animated as she named the animals. I love watching Stella grow, if anything it just gets me prepared for when Zoey is her age! I loved seeing the Elephants, they are my fav animal, but of course when we got there they were sleeping. (just our luck)
I took a few pics a long our walk through the zoo and few of Stella and Zoey. The pics of them aren't the greatest, but I don't think we'll ever get the perfect pic with those two, they're such busy bodies!

After the Zoo we went to The Cheesecake Factory for Brit's Birthday with her family, unfortunately I didn't take any pics, anyways that was fun! We then that evening went over to the dibbs to watch BYU basketball- I think! I wasn't paying attention, I was having too much fun watching Zoey and Stella play and talking to Brit.

On saturday before getting ready to go to the Zoo with the Dibbs. Zoey was eating her breakfast and I found her COOL sunglasses that she's never worn. I'm sure if Zoey ever did wear her glasses they'd only last a few seconds before she'd rip them off and throw them. Anyways, Zoey lasted a bit longer this morning and even gave me a cheeky smile.

Hi

We brought Zoey a snowsuit a few weeks ago, I know she probably won't get a ton of use out of it, but it was such a good deal that we just couldn't resist. We've been getting tons of snow lately and Bryce and I wonna get together we friends soon and take the kids to some bunny hills and let them enjoy the snow, but it's finding the time. Having said this, until then we decided to get her all dressed up and take out front and enjoy (somewhat) the snow for the first time.
