The knife (twice actually)

It turns out that I'm not the perfect physical specimen that I've always thought I was. (Although with some liposuction and some hair plugs I remain convinced that I could be close).

In the last 3 weeks, I've had surgery to repair a tendon in my foot AND surgery to repair a tendon and remove calcium in my shoulder.  Both procedures appear to have gone well, and should leave me stronger, faster, leaner, and even better-looking than I was before.  While this tune up leaves me out of commission for most activities this summer, it should leave me in prime condition to enjoy summer #2 for us, which will take place when we move to Las Vegas just in time to enjoy 'winter' there.

New Wheels

After arriving in Utah, we had 24 hours to buy & register a car.  Lucky for us, my sister-in-law's father was selling a car.  We took it for a test drive.  Liked it but wanted to shop a little more.   After searching KSLcars.com and scouting dealership lots for a few hours, we couldn't find another car that would compare in value. Needless to say, we went back and bought the car.

Here's a look at our new set of wheels.

Our 5 years without a car is over!

Viva Las Vegas!

It's now official.  We're moving to Las Vegas!

Here's the current plan: Bryce will spend July and August working in the Salt Lake office of Wisan, Smith, Racker & Prescott.  In September, we'll head to Las Vegas where Bryce will officially open the Las Vegas office for this accounting firm. He's really excited for the new opportunity and we're excited for the new lifestyle.

Anyone interested in buying a small 2-bedroom apartment on the UWS?
