Happy 10th Anniversay!

Bryce and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary last week. We went to Providence, UT and stayed in a Bed & Breakfast. Jack stayed with Gramdma & Grandpa.

It's so fun to look back and talk about all we've experienced together in 10 years. Who would have thought we'd live in NY for 7 years?

One of the reasons I love being married most is that we get to make decisions together.

I love you, babe!

Back in the saddle

I haven't ridden my bike since giving birth.  (By the time I could bear the thought of sitting on a bike seat it was already winter.  Spring arrived but we were busy making big decisions about our lives).  Bryce hasn't ridden his bike since having his surgeries.  Saturday, however, we both got back in the saddle.

We rode from East Millcreek down to Hogle Zoo, then stopped at Grandpa Lee's on 1300 S. before riding home.  Bryce's sister, Natalie, and her husband, Jared, accompanied us.  Both Nat and Jared are in kick butt shape so we are unsure if they will ever ride with us again.

Oh yeah...Bryce wants to especially thank Jared for pushing the trailer from behind up some of those hills.

My new favorite place

Last week Jack and I spent 2 days (mornings really) at This is the Place Heritage Park.  I met up with my sister and her 4 kids.  What a ball!

I would describe this place as a Nauvoo for kids.  The tours of the homes and businesses are much more hands on and they usually have an activity for the kids.  From washing clothes, to making sand art, to getting a shave, to riding ponies, to riding miniature trains, to wagon rides, to a petting zoo; the list goes on and on.

Along with 80 full-time employees, families also volunteer at different buildings.  Having kids and adults all dressed up in their pioneer attire, doing chores, and running errands really makes it feel like you're in a little pioneer village.

Jack particularly enjoyed the petting zoo as one little black goat really enjoyed licking Jack. The little calf enjoyed licking my orange bag and then took off pushing Jack in his stroller. I tried to take a picture of the moment, but suddenly realized Jack probably needed saving.

Enjoy these pictures of our day...

Round Robin - Finished and Delivered

I finally got around to adding a few more leaves.  Here's how the tree turned out.

I also got around to dropping this quilt row off at my cousin's.  It was only 38 days late.  Sorry, Melissa. :)

I won't get to see the quilt again until April 2009.  By then, four more relatives will have added on to it to create a lap size quilt top.
