The Fausett Family

On August 6, 2011 Noah became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are so proud of him. There were a lot of people that celebrated this day with him. We love that so many family members could make it on this special day and missed those that couldn't come. Congratulations Noah!

Noah had a great 8th birthday. I can't believe these eight years have come and gone so fast. He is a bright, funny, handsome kid. He hates that I get him underwear for every birthday and holiday, but it has become something of a running joke. Happy Birthday Noah!!

Rexy is a preschool graduate! He was sooo excited for the big day and it was so cute to watch him. Ms. Kristi was an awesome teacher and Rex loved her. When Rex came home he watched his DVD of the year about 3-4 times and then we found him bawling his eyes out. So sweet to see my little Rexy sad about preschool being over. When I finally got him to talk he said he was going to miss Ms. Kristi the most. A favorite story of the year is when Ms. Kristi had to try and discipline Rex for not sitting still (I know, shocker). She asked him why he was doing it, with his glasses slipping off his nose his reply was simply, "my brain told my hands and feet to do it!" How do you get mad at him when he is so stinkin' cute! So on that note... GRADulations to my Rexy!

During the video every time there was a picture of his best buddy Nathan, he would put his arm around him.
Rex was quite the ladies man this year. Ms. Kristi would tell me about the love affairs going on in class. He had a special friend Ellie (sitting on his right in the green skirt). But he couldn't decide each day who was cuter, Ellie or Ella (on his left). Oh, boy are we in trouble!!

Another season down. Soccer is over for the summer and this mom is thrilled. Even though Noah loves it, I can do without the bi-weekly practices and every Saturday devoted to a game. He loved playing with 2 of his best friends this season, Trey and Scotty. Hopefully next season the team will have a little better luck. The teams slogan this year could have been, "oh...so close." It seemed every shot on goal either missed by inches, hit the crossbar, or bounced off the posts. We are proud of Noah for sticking with it! GO PUMAS!

We finally went to a 51's game out at Cashman Field. The kids had a blast hanging out with their friends from school. The team got killed but we stayed till the end. In the end who was the only one not to fall asleep on the way home at 11pm....yes Jilly! We will have to do this again.

This year for Easter we went to CA during our Spring Break. The weather was cold and gloomy, but we had a good time spending it with lots of cousins. A couple weeks before we had our annual Easter Egg Hunt with the ward. It was lots of fun! And of course Easter day I had the kids in all new matching Easter clothes. I look forward to seeing them each year all dressed up.

It's hard to believe my baby's 2 and growing up soooo fast. Jilly is such an easy girl to love. Some of her favorites right now are "bebes," "ruffs," and especially giving kisses. She loves her brothers and sister so much that she is constantly trying to copy them. (of course they love this) Life is fun and full of excitement with Jill around. She makes our family happy.
