I know what you are thinking because I was thinking the same thing. Biking & doughnuts, that doesn't mix. However, it was one of the funnest rides I have done in a while. Thanks for coming along J-Mac. I only put down 3 doughnuts and J-Mac put down 8. Very impressive if I say so myself because I wanted to throw mine up a couples time during the race. When it was all said and done I didn't want any sugar for a while.
Good times had by all and I can't wait for it to come around next year.

Atta kid hum now,....
Words that I use to always here my dad say along with my coaches and now I am saying it to Hailey. Tonight was her first Tee-Ball game and she did great. Her and her cousin Emma are on the same team and they did awesome. Emma really knows how to get around the bases. Good job girls.

I DID IT!!!
So I went back to my roots the first of the year and bought a road bike. I use to bike race BMX bikes when I was little so I knew I had it in me. My brother in law was always out riding and wanted someone to ride with so I pulled the trigger and had no idea what I would be getting myself into. Well this last Saturday I found out. I signed up for the Tour de St. George for my first race/tour of the year. I loved it. It was challenging but I did it. Sure there were times during some of the climbs that I just wanted to stop and say bag it but I dug down deep and continued on. (thanks biggins for getting me up those climbs) I just did the 30 miler with Ben Peay, well 31.88 miles according to the Garmin. I totally give props to my Brother in law who road the 75 miler. I finished in 2:24:17 and crossed the finish line with a bunch of cheerleaders there welcoming us back home from the butt kicking we just received.
I am hooked and can't wait to do more. Next stop the Salt Lake Marathon bike tour. Thanks for all the support and encouragement.

What ive been upto lately
Lately a switch has turned on in my head to get back to my roots. So in January I welcomed with opened arms someone new into the family.
Meet Madone 5.2 SL,
It's my new best friend and kicking my butt to get back in shape. I owe it all to my brother in law J-Mac for poking, prodding and helping me find what I needed. Now he has created a monster. It brings me back to my childhood when I use to bike race and was rider #1. I love that when I click into the pedals all that goes through my mind is..."Set em riders....Watch the lights" a phrase I heard from Biggins over and over and over. So Biggins, this one's for you! My first race is in St. George at the Tour de St. George the end of March. Wish me luck.

You gotta love it baby!!!!
I was lucky enough to score court side seats to the Jazz game last night. It was a heck of a ball game. We were right behind the visitor's bench. Luckly, the Jazz battled back for a "W". (Pics taken with the iPhone, sorry for the quality)
