Lily is One! We are so blessed to have this sweet, joyful girl in our lives!
- She loves to hold and pat her baby dolls.
- She lives for attention from big brother and big sister. Which they happily give (most of the time). They both enjoy making her smile and laugh and sometimes enjoy helping her learn new things.
- She now has 11 teeth, one more on the verge. She has really struggled with these teeth coming in.
- She now waves, claps, and points all the time.
- Lily loves dogs! Everytime we pass a dog, she points and says "da da da." She also thinks squirrels are dogs. :)
- She jabbers, but no real words yet. Might say "mama," "bubu" (brother), "Emma," and "dada" and "da" (dog)… but not really consistently yet.
- Still scoots everywhere. She sometimes gets on her knees in a crawling position, but moves back to her bottom to go anywhere.
- She can pull up on her knees and to standing, but doesn't really do it very often. She's not interested in walking at all yet and I'm totally fine with that. :)
- Lily catches people's attention everywhere we go. She always makes friends with people at stores, parks, etc. just with her big eyes and precious, sometimes goofy smile.
Pictures from her 1st birthday celebration below. More pictures coming soon when we celebrate the actual day at DisneyWorld on Saturday!! Sorry for the many pictures of her smash cake. I just love her expressions in every one and couldn't narrow it down. :)
We were so excited that Aunt Lauren got to be here and we got to see her 2 weekends in a row!…
Miss America wave from Lily in her new trike…
Big kids couldn't wait to give her their presents, so she opened her homemade books and some regifted toys from the kids rooms. So generous and thoughtful from the bigs…
The cakes…
