The Smith Six

Shelbie and I took a fabulous trip to Florida to visit Scott's Granny. She is a wonderful person and I was so glad to get to know her better. She just had a knee replacement and so we didn't do any major sight-seeing, vacation type things (we snuck out to the beach on one of the warmer days) but we hung around and visited with friends and other family members. We had a very enjoyable time!!

We had the Missionaries over for dinner tonight and Shelbie was ultra showing off and being very hiper and was having fun with it because the Elders were playing with her...Elder Ide said "Did you take your crazy pills today?" and Shelbie said "I don't have pills like Gramma Low"
(Gramma Low is her great-grandma and she takes several vitamins and prescriptions medications and I guess Shelbie noticed this when she was down visiting over New Years) :-)

We are 'hiding' under a blanket on the 'squishy thing' on the living room floor 'having a talk'...this means I am telling Shelbie several stories...she was being goofy and so I told her that she is nuts...she said "I'm not nuts! I'm Shelbie......Shelbie Nuts!!"
I couldn't stop laughing and had to post this right away (I guess it might not be as funny for you readers because you don't hear the tone of her voice when she kept saying 'shelbie nuts')...back to our tent telling stories. bye
