I so love Sunday evenings and this is why, we all just seem to gather at mom and dads house for good food and good conversion. My kids look so forward to going over there every Sunday and seeing everyone, if we don't they think they are in trouble or something. I am so lucky to live so close to both of our families, and be able to see them so much. So I decided to post a few pictures so I can remember these fun summer Sunday nights!

 
Tonight I told the two little monkeys it was time for bed and to go up and get their jammmies on, so they ran up the stairs and started doing exactly what I told them, I was quite shocked I must admit, especially because bed time at my house is such a process. So a few minutes later I could swear I was smelling popcorn,(burnt popcorn) so I walked into the kitchen and they weren't there, so I headed up to there room, not there either, and this is where I found them! All cozied up in my bed, watching a movie and having popcorn! I said," I thought I said go to bed", and Addie said "you did, but not which one!" So needless to say I"ll probably be sleeping in a pile of popcorn tonight! You gotta love em!

For all of you who know me and Jas, you know that Strawberry Days is like a national holiday for our family! The normal week kinda stops and all we do is Rodeo,the parade, Huck finn day and lets not for get the carnie and then more Rodeo! But we love it and love to see all the fun faces we do during this fun time, its like a little hometown reunion!I loved the theme for this year, it was "Everyone comes home for Strawberry days" and its so true, we all do, and there is always the ol standbys that you will always see! I love being so involved, and making such fun memories with friends and family! These are just a few of our fun pictures of all the fun we had this week!(Sorry there are so many!) P.S. I also wanted to give a little shoutout to my two cousins this week, in the midst of all this craziness, my cousin Aubry and her hubby Cody had their first baby, welcome little Mya! And my cousins Tyson had his farewell and leaves on tuesday for Brazil! Good Luck Ty, we will miss you!

 
 
 
 

Me and the kids want our special daddy to know how much we love him and all he does for our small little family! I have felt so blessed in my life to have found a man like him! He is so good to our kids ( to be honest I think they like him more than me) and loves them so much! I decided instead of me going off on all of the good dad qualities he has I would ask the kids their favorite things about dad, so here are just a few!

1.Addie says "He takes me geocaching with out mom!"
2.Hold says " I love it when he tackles me!"
3.We love it when he takes us to get snow cones.
4.I love when he jumps on the tramp with us!
5.We love that he is a very important sheriff!
6.When he takes us to Texas Roadhouse and Wienersnitchezel (Cuz mom wont go to those places!)
7.We love to watch "The Simpsons" with him!
8.When he takes us to Harts for a treat!
9.Addie says, "He is the best at pulling out my teeth, it doesn't even hurt!"
10.He loves his "Meat Snacks" but, sometimes he will share and we love that!

I just wanted to take this special day and tell our Dads how much we love and appreciate them. Me and Jas have been so blessed to have such great examples in our lives for dads, and our children have been so blessed to have such great grandpa's! Thanks for all you do for us! We love you! Happy Fathers Day!

So I got tagged by Tiff and Ell and I'm not very good at doing these, but this a fun one, so here we go!

What was I doing 10 years ago? We had just bought a little house in P.G., it was like 40 years old so we were totally redoing it, I was working at Scott Hancock Salon and Jas worked for a company Delta Geotechnical, doing field testing, I remember I thought we were so grown up, little did I know!

What was I doing 5 years ago? We had just built our little house in Applegrove and were so excited to move in, Addie was 2 and at such a fun age, tonz of curly hair and talking up a storm, Jas was just getting ready to start the police academy and I was doing hair out at my mom and dads.

What was I doing one year ago? Going crazy with getting ready for Strawberry days, On one of the strictest diets I have ever endured in my life, and for the first time ever in my life going to the pool regularly( those of you who know me, know that is s big step for me)!

Yesterday? I took the kids to swim lessons to find out they had been cancelled, came home and did hair, then I came up made a frozen pizza for dinner and watched so you think you can dance and blog stocked til I got in bed, then I ended up reading my new book, " The Host" which by the way I have really got into!

My Five fav snacks?
1.I love mini vanilla wafers! The colored ones I think they are keebler, I cant get enough of those!
2.Any kind of homemade cookie or pie and I'm in heaven!
3. I love to go to flour girls and dough boys and get one of there bakery treats! Yummy!
4.I love puffy Cheetos
5.I love Carmel rice cakes, I can eat the whole bag!

Books that I love?
To be honest I haven't really been much of reader til this last year, when the Twilight series came out, so obviously those and I'm reading her new one, The Host, and at first I didn't love it, but I'm totally into it now!

1.socks with sandals
2.a thong
3.Mom pants
4.I hate free t-shirts, like advertising ones people give out.
5.A bikini( but If I had a hot body I so would!)

5 places to run away?

1. St.George, its a quick getaway, down to Jason's parents condo, we love it!
2. Disneyland, Always makes me happy!
3. Target, with no kids, just me and my shopping cart!
4. The Caribbean I could run away there any day!
5. Out to dinner with my hubby, once again, no kids!

5 pet peeves?
Where do I start!

1. Socks with sandals! GAG!
2. When Addie can not for the life of me stay clean, she will look so cute and then 5 minutes later, look like a total mutt!
3.Beds that are not made right, I know its so anal, it makes me so crazy, everything has to be straight.
4.Certain words, like Panties, and pork aaa! they grind on me!
5.My husband chewing on his fingernails, I hate the sound it reminds me of a cat licking itself, another thing I so cant stand!

1. Gossiping, guilty as charged!

3. Spending money when I really don't have it to spend!
4. Going out to dinner to much, its bad when your kids freak out when you say, " NO,
we are eating at home today!" Like they are being punished!
5.Letting my house get so dirty, it will take me a month to clean it right!

I have been going through lots of my pictures lately and have come across some real classics! So the other night I came home to about five or six cars parked in front of my house and wondered what the heck was going on. Then I realized that my neighbor kid was having a little party next door. It got me to thinking back of the good ol days and how my house was always the hang out. For some reason we always ended up there, and I so loved it! These two pictures are of us just chillin and thinking we were the coolest kids on the block! Sometimes I really miss those days, there wasn't a worry in the world, well except maybe curfew! These were good times, Ill have to post some of the others I have found, I think you will all get a kick out of them!

 
 
So tonight was Holden's 2nd T-Ball game, and he has been so dang excited to play, it's all I have heard about. So on our way there tonight he starts to tell me he can't play because he has a broken leg. I'm like OK Hold, well see, so we get to the the junior high were they play and he starts to have a total break down. He was kicking and screaming, "I'm not playing, take me home!" It was so embarrassing. So I had to do some serious breathing so I would not kill him out in public, and I pretty much threatened his little life that he better get out there and play and not be a big puss cat, or I was gonna take him to " The Camp" ( which is at our house the worst place you could ever go, Me and Jas made it up, its the place you go and you have to eat all your worst most hated foods and do lots and lots of work.) I know we are so horrible, but it works! So he finally went out there and when he got up to bat and hit the ball, he limped all the way to first base! oops! Maybe he really was hurt!:( But he played and ended up having a fun time! And then on the way home, he told me, "Mom, my legs all better know, it's not broken anymore." And I love T-Ball! Kids are so dang fickle sometimes, but you gotta love em!
