Trigger Finger

My camera and I have been bonding the last few days.
Here are some of the results.
The following cuties are my friend's foster children. They're pinchably perfect.

And the rest, a teaser from the wedding I shot yesterday under the noon-day sun in Antelope Meadows.

I should be posting all of these to my new photogpraphy site.
But I haven't finished it yet, and a Sunday afternoon nap is calling my name...

Have a great week!

Summer Exhaust.

Summer can be so exhausting...

Wouldn't you agree?

Kyle looks like a big kid in this picture.
I like to look at it because it's cute,
but he sure is growing up rather quickly. sniff sniff...

Be "PREPARED" to BBQ

So, our ward youth sponsored a Preparedness BBQ last night.

no one knew it was called such until they got there.

I'm quite sure that's why we had such a record turnout!
(or it could have been the fact that "BBQ" was attached to it.)

I'm glad I took my camera.
I ended up with some great images of our awesome ward family.

I'm quite sure I'll be using them in a video someday.

I'm also pretty certain we have the most adorable primary children ever.

I realize that's coming from their primary president, but honestly...

And, there were newborns everywhere.
The kind that make you want to buy fluffy carter's sleepers
even when it's 95 degrees.

And, of course, being that it was also their mutual night, the local youth did abound,
with smiles (and hormones) a-twitter.

I decided I could probably blow this next one up to poster size and sell it for
thirty bucks each
to local young women, while making a small fortune.

Until next week, when we meet on this same grass, at this same hour, for the 4th of July festivities...it's been real
Glassford Hill Ward.

And, lest you forget the reason for which gathered to consume those processed turkey franks...
be. prepared.
the end.

a weem-o-wep...

dear readers (however few there may be)...
Please excuse my absence from posting. Just got back from UT/CO for grandma's funeral, and am leaving for girl's camp and the ensuing 10 mile hike with spouse and 24 girlies in 5 hours. Bless you, Harris family and Grandma lehnhof for caring for our children. I will give a full report to the group upon returning.
over-and-out.
