Christmas Lovin' 2009

Even after the cabin fever set in
(and lemmetellya we are resident cabin fever-ers)
it was a perfectly. wonderful. day(s).

we made pizza on Christmas Eve
(as is tradition)

we laughed at Kyle
(as always)

we read the story
as in, the Bethlehem one.

we posed for this same ol' picture
as in, the one my kids hate

we slept (eventually)
as in - all in the wrong rooms and in "Musical Beds" fashion.

Upon final emergence from said beds, I threw in the risen cinnamon rolls and we henceforth proceeded with a peaceful day which led to eventual cabin fever as expected.

Random post-worthy gifts:
as in - the ones I actually photograped.

Cool-dude clothing for cool dudes in Middle School.

Pillows and blankets of the fuzzy variety

Not to be confused with fuzzy blankets of the sleeved leopard-skin variety.

Kyle's very own laptop mouse and the revival of the Leapster.

Whitney's very own cleaning supplies bucket. (TOP on her list?!? Strange girl.)

Custom hoodies so we know what school they each go to.

BFF CTR charms for the girly BFF sisters.

We also had a great couple of wii shuffleboard tournaments
played dominoes and Skip-Bo Twist
consumed a ham and potatoes dinner enough for WAY more mouths...
I think we'll be having it again for lunch and dinner today.
As for today - - I think we could all benefit from a family trip
to the gym.
Merry Christmas!

okay, December...here's your post

Here's what's been consuming ours (and my) time
this (always-crazy) December, causing the posting shortage...

wedding photography

LEGO robotics competitions
and click HERE to find out about how Bret's team is going
to the STATE competition now.

YW cooking classes

work party-ing
getting schnazzied up in new Christmas Duds

planning combined mutual activities

preparing a YW Christmas lesson
(if only it were finished, and I'd post it here instead of picture)

And amdist it all, still enjoying the
merriment of the season.

Happy Christmasing to all...
