The other day, kind of at the last minute (and when I learned that it was nearly the last day of warmth) I gathered my family for their favorite (not!) activity of all time.
They threw things at me, snuck candy into their pockets, stepped on each others' fingers on purpose, etc. It was a real slice of heaven on earth.
Same as last year, I enlisted Jessi to stand in for me and then trade places.
