To those of you who have sent us Christmas cards this year, thank you for spending that stamp on us. We enjoy receiving and displaying the cards and photos. This year, for the first time in my adult life, I am not going to send out a Christmas card or letter. If you would like a copy of this photo, let me know and we'll get one to you. But they're not going to make it in the mail to everyone by Christmas, and this will just have to do instead. We hope you all had a good year. Ours has been all kinds of things. It's been too long since I blogged.  This fall has been crazy as we've tried to adjust to some big changes.  I (Kit) am working full time, and Luke is home with the kids.  As you can guess, this doesn't leave me as much time for writing.  But we have done plenty of other stuff.  Let's catch up: We started the fall season by taking advantage of the nice weather and painting our house:  Fall is my very favorite time of year.  We tried to get the most out of it:  Jesse's Jr. High band class got to march at the UW football halftime show with the other school bands from around the state.  It was fun! Then it was time for Halloween!    In November, sweet Winter turned 11 years old!  It was her birthday wish to travel to Montana and see where she was born.  Since we didn't have any Thanksgiving plans this year, we used the long weekend to do exactly that! ...

We had just enough extra time this weekend to sneak up to the mountains for a couple hours and take a few photos in the beautiful aspen trees.  This is for sure one of our favorite times of year! *Remember-- you can always click on the photos to view them larger!   This guy never lets me take his photo, and he's growing up fast!  I was happy to get several good shots of him this weekend. We love you, Fall!  Don't go by so fast!
