The 4 Amigos

Pac-man is trying to sit up more and more. And when he does sit up he loves his bongo set. They light up and of course play music. He could sit their forever and play with those things. He also loves the mini piano in front of him. I think he is getting ready to be a one man band:) Play those bongo's little man!!

We had Paxton's 6 month pictures made this past weekend. I know we are late but hey, with this move we are lucky they got done at all. He did so good during the whole thing. He was such a little ham:) These are a couple of my favorite's, there will be a few more later. The backgrounds are not my favorite but Jcpenny didn't have much to decide from. This was our first experience there and doubt we will be going back. You live and you learn. At least little pac-man looks adorable. Those eyes and eyelashes are going to cause some problems down the road. These pictures were done especially for papa chief..Hope you guys enjoy!! I just want to eat this little man up:)

We visited with my aunt and her family yesterday. It was so much fun and great to see them. It has been a good minute since we have seen Jacob,Josh and Domino. So it was great to see them all. Paxton had a blast playing with all of them and looking at there dogs. We love you guys!!

For our anniversary I had my blog friend Courtney paint a canvas picture. It turned out wonderful and he LOVED it. It will be a great addition to our new house. Joe can't wait to get it hung on the wall. Check out her site, she has some pictures around her site.

Thank you for the past 4 years. We have come along way on our journey and can't wait for the rest of it. You are truly my best friend and the best dad Paxton could ever have. We have had our ups and downs and have grown so much through all of it. You make the downside look better. Marriage's are not perfect but I know we sure make it the best we can. Seeing you with Paxton makes my heart melt..I am lucky to have you by my side!!! So I want to say THANK YOU for all you are and all you continue to be. I love you with all my heart:)

Well we are moved in at mammaw Burnett's. We are staying here until we can move into our new house. So far we are really enjoying our time here. It has been so great:) This weekend we had some great weather. We headed outside to take advantage of it. Pac-man is the process of learning how to sit unsupported, but we are not there yet. This super seat below has been wonderful. He really seems to love and so do we. All the toys are attached so, NO picking up dropped toys 10,000 times. Not that he hasn't been fun but he is really becoming so much fun. Outside is one of his favorite places to be. When he is upset outside is what calms him. Pac-man and his mammaw sit outside every morning and watch the birds. So this wonderful weekend weather fit Paxton perfectly:)

Yesterday, was pac-man's 6 month check up. It didn't go like we thought it would. Things started out normal and then he checked little one's ears. The doctor looked at us and said well looks like he has a ear infection. No shots for him today. I just wanted to get those over with. Luckily it is not a bad ear infection, he said we caught it just in time..YAY FOR THAT!! We are giving him medicine twice a day and have to go back in 10 days to be re-checked and get shots. Oh the joy:(

At 6 months you are doing so much:
you roll all over the place
you can sit unsupported for about 5 minutes
everything goes straight to your mouth
so far you have loved all the fruits and veggies we have given you(except carrots)
you have 1 tooth
for the most part you sleep through the night
Your are so much fun these days. You just have the best time playing and being held too:)

He looks a little stunned in this photo, don't you think?? Any how, he loves him some sweet potatoes. I feed him while his daddy held him..After it was all gone this is the look I got. Sorry sweet boy no more:( He was not happy, but he made it through. I just love those eyes.

Yesterday pac-man rocked his cardinals shirt. He is ready to take his first bat. All his cousins play baseball so I have a feeling he will be around it a lot. Plus we really enjoy going to games. I just thought these were to cute:)

This past weekend my mom, Paxton and stayed with baba(my great grandma,Paxton's great,great grandma) and Nina(my great aunt). We had fun and they enjoyed Paxton so much. Baba just talked to him, it was so adorable. We are so very lucky to have her around. She is so amazing and is my hero. I am so glad she gets to see him often. He seems to really enjoy her and he is so calm around her.

Pac-Man-

Today is your 6 month birthday. Man oh, mam where has the time gone. We are still amazed by you. You seem to discover something new everyday. We love to play with you on the floor. You just roll around, grab everything and you attempt to sit up. July 4th weekend you cut your first pearly white. You are are growing to fast. Paxton, you bring so much joy to your dad and I. Words can't say how much you mean to us. We look forward to the next 6 months and all that you will do. Our little piece of heaven is perfect!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. Ours was busy but good. Pac-man was teething all weekend. Needless to say he was not a happy camper. We made it though. The pearly white finally made it to the surface!

I am not sure if you can see them but we played with bubbles the other night. He was so funny. His first impression was amazement. Pac-man just starred at them. Then my sister took his hand and let him pop them. He just laughed especially when they popped in his face.

Today was pac-mans first trip to the park. He had a blast. Well I will say we all had a great time:)

Last night was a battle to feed him. He would not leave his feet alone. If I tried to give him a bite, he cried. The last picture says it all. So let's say the feet won:)
