The 4 Amigos

Since this is my outlet, I am going to vent. Let me start out by saying,I want to go to the beach NOW!!! Things lately have just been so crazy with P. I know it's the terrible 2's or at least I hope it is. He has decided he doesn't want to go to sleep any more, so every night we have to lay in his floor until he goes to sleep. BOO!!!! We tried the crying thing he didn't care and after 35 minutes I couldn't take any more and then the next day he was hoarse, insert bad mom:( We are going on 2 weeks of laying in his floor until he is asleep. Then we have to be ninja like and tip toe out all while not stepping on a dang toys in the dark!!! Secondly, FITS!!! I mean WTF??? He throws down these days about every single thing. The worst is getting in the car seat. He arches is back and just gets stiff..Oh and don't try to hold his hand, he wants to be Mr.Independent and that leads to a huge fit. Did I mention HUGE? Shopping this weekend was a disaster, he didn't want to hold my hand or wear his backpack that I can hold onto. I grabbed his hand and he let out this blood curdling scream, awesome..My face turned all kind of red and so did my sisters. ha/ha She is 16 so that was some good birth control for her..lol Please say a little prayer this will pass and is just a phase. It is taking it's toll in several ways

It has been so cold and rainy here this weekend. I am ready for the warm to come back. Last week we went outside almost every night. We have nice swing set and try to go out there a lot. Pax is some what into sliding these days. He doesn't need us to catch him at the bottom any more, sad day:( He knows just how to do it like a big boy. It's amazing how much he has changed since last summer. Last summer he wouldn't even slide unless we were standing there to catch him..lol This summer he will be so much fun. I know he is just going to love the pool even more this year. Come on warm weather:) Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!

I am loving this spring weather. We go outside every day and I just look forward to it. The one down side to spring is the allergies. Man oh man they are bad. Other than that I just adore spring. Pax is in love with bubbles so he is in heaven being outside with the bubbles. He also can't resist the slide and swing. I have to admit I have fun swinging too:)
The hubby has made our flower bed look great, we are just read for some blooms. We both worked in the flower bed Saturday but the hubby did most of the hard work..lol

Last weekend my mam maw had a birthday. We went over to her house to help her celebrate. She had lot's of visitors, she is such a special lady. Pax is crazy about her too. He was shy when we first got there with all the company, some of those people he had never seen before. He warmed up quick and then it was no stopping him. The below picture was towards the end of the visit so he was a little worn out and still.lol These days pictures are hard to capture, he is always on the move..
We love you so much mam maw, we can wait for more wonderful birthday's with you!!

Today, I was thinking how my baby wasn't really a baby any more. He is so big now and says so many words. I mean where did my little baby go??? Time goes by so fast and I want to just pause it. I miss the time I could hold pax and rock him at night and just stare at him. Now, I am lucky to get him to sit in my lap for 5 seconds. Don't get me wrong I am thankful for a healthy growing toddler on our hands but man oh man do I miss that little baby. I know growing up is part of life but it just goes by so fast and I just can't grasp it. I know I need to squeeze in as many hugs and kisses and holds as I can now. Before I know it he will be 16:(

A few weekends ago aunt kk came and stayed the night with us. We had lots of fun and pax had a blast. While she was here we made some cookies. Both pax and kk had a great time with this. Pax really thought he was big stuff by helping stir. He was so funny and serious about the stirring..lol Of course, the favorite part of both kk and pax was decorating the cookies. Paxton's cookies was pretty much a pile of sprinkles..ha/ha Oh well, it's the fun we had making them and they tasted good too:) We hope you come back soon kk.

So a few weeks ago we kept Marshall for our friends. He did so good. It was our first time having 2 small one's at the same time. They both did well. Of course there were a few times they didn't want to share toys but overall they had a blast. Marshall never cried except when Joe went downstairs..lol!! Pax had fun sharing his goldfish and feeding them to M!! Now, sharing his toys not really..Marshall loved the different toys we had and was just chill all night. We all had a fun night. It's nice to have someone around pax's age for him to play with.

I am so behind on uploading pictures. I actually just printed Paxton's birthday pictures. Any way, we didn't get much for pax for Valentines day. What we did get him loved. We got him a travel aqua doddle for the car and some crayons. He has really gotten into coloring lately. We got him these triangular ones and they are perfect for his little hands.
Not too much going with us. It's raining here so it will be a lazy day:)
