The 4 Amigos

Saturday we went to Mimi and papa's for Easter. Nana Peggy came over too, so that was a good time too.We had yummy food and great times with family. We had so much food but it was all so good and we even got to bring home a little to go plate:) After dinner we did a Easter egg hunt for P. The Easter bunny "Mimi" did such a good job of hiding and filling the eggs. P had the best time finding all the eggs. If they didn't have anything in them, they got tossed to the side.LOL
After the egg hunt we did Easter baskets. That was fun and we all got some good things!! Thanks for the fun Mimi,papa and Nana Peggy. We love you guys!

Friday, Joe and I took P to the zoo for the day. It was so much fun and such great weather. Lately, we have been blessed some sunny warm days. After the zoo granny,grumps and aunt kk came over and we all dyed EASTER eggs. I was so surprised at how much this little boy loved dying eggs. He couldn't get enough of it. As a matter of fact poor KK didn't get very many because P keep taking the,. Next year we will have to buy a ton.LOL!! It was a great family night for sure:)
I have a ton of EASTER pictures so I will bring them up in post. I leave Tuesday for a few days, so EASTER will pick up when I get back.
He has RISEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really much going on lately so I thought I would put a few more pictures up from the zoo.

We went to the zoo a few weekends back. We all went for mimi's birthday!! Before we headed into the zoo we had a picnic. It was so much fun and we all enjoyed it. P gave mimi her present and cupcakes at the picnic:) P really enjoyed the zoo this time around. He was into naming the animals and making the noises they make. This age is so much fun. He can carry on a mini conversation about what we are doing. Papa took P to ride on the carousal and of course that was a huge hit. The weather was great and so was the company. We will be making many more trips back to the zoo this spring/summer. We have lot's of pictures, I will post more later.

P thinks he is a BIG boy these days. He wants to sit in the "big chair" all the time. We did cave in and let him sit in the big chair. He thought he was big stuff sitting in that chair:) Surprisingly he did very well sitting in it. When he sits in a regular chair he wants to stand up so we have to watch closely. Now that we let him sit in the "big chair" we have to talk him into sitting in the high chair.LOL! I am not ready to let him sit in the "big chair" permanently. My little man is just getting so big.

Pax was invited to a birthday party at a bounce house place and he loved it. He did not stop from the time he got there until the time we left. He went from one thing to another and was not scared of the big slides. I guess this will be a option for his next party. Of course p was not fond of the present time because that meant no playing in the bounce houses. It was very hard to keep him contained.lol!! The cake and ice cream keep him busy for a minute. We made it though and it was a successful party outing. The party was for his cousins and it's always a plus to see them. I really wish I would have came up with these bounce house places, they stay booked up. man oh man!!

Last week P had a art show at school. They had there art work on display and pictures in the classroom of them doing various things. They also had a class painting on display and it was so cute:) It was nice to see his art work and talk with some of the other parents of the class. Although most of the time we were chasing P around. LOL! Before the show we went to dinner with some friends, there little boy is in the same class. So the boys definitely had a good time running around. I just loved seeing his little art work:)

I believe our child is obsessed with bubbles. He ask for them constantly. We have to hide them around the house so he will not find them..LOL! I mean the other night I know we blew bubbles for a good 30 minutes. He was so content and perfectly happy. I don't mind bubbles outside at all but inside they can make a pretty big mess. So that's where the trouble comes in. He wants them upstairs, in the bed. the dinner table or just about any place you can think. Another thing going to the store these days is hard seeing as how there are bubbles on every aisle. We hear, bubbles, bubbles mommy or daddy all the way through the store..lol Oh well you pick your battles and this is one I don't fight. He can just have those bubbles and be a happy little boy:)

Last weekend my brother and sister came and stayed with us. We had such a great time. I just love when they come visit. Cory and Joe played wii and watched basketball all day Saturday. My sister, p and I did some shopping and it was so much fun. I can't believe she is about to be 16, time just keeps on flying. P loves it so much when they are over. He gets so much play time and extra attention when they are here. Cory won pax over this time!! P loves bubble guppies, so uncle Cory found it on-line. Of course P climbed up in his lap and snuggled and watched "guppies" as he says. They were instant BFF's after that. So cute, just makes my heart happy:)
