The 4 Amigos

I don't give our fur babies enough blog love. Today is all about our first babies. Daisy our beagle was our very first baby. We got about 8 years ago. Joe and I were still dating, seems like so long ago. Lily joined our family about 4 years ago. The 2 dogs are the best of friends for most of the time. Daisy can be a little moody when lily wants to play.lol
P and Daisy are friends for sure. P and lily not so much. Daisy loves to follow p around when he has snacks, I mean why wouldn't she. She ends up getting all the snacks. Miss.Lily stays away from p. He stepped on her once and hurt her. He didn't mean to but she stays away. We love our fur babies to death. Couldn't imagine life without them.

His smile melts my heart. I love that he smile's with his eyes...

I still can't believe how big my little boy is. Growing way,way to fast. Also growing is a attitude. We are working so hard on some things right now. I don't know if it's the terrible 2's or what but man we have had some trying times lately. The hubby and I don't know what to do sometimes..We are making it though. We just don't want these problems/issues to stay around for to long. Let me just say 2 year old's have a mind of there own and think they are in control or at least mine does. We are working on this very hard. I guess he is just testing us to see what he can get away with.

Happy hump day

July 5th my BFF welcomed her 3rd little one into the world. He is so adorable, I just want to squeeze on him. They named him Liam and is just so tiny. Mom and baby are doing great, she had to have a emergency c-section. That was a scary call I got:( I forgot what it was like to hold such a tiny little baby. It makes me want but not just yet..lol


We took them dinner last week and Pax had no interest at all in little Liam. He was more into chasing the cat around. Go figure..He would look at Liam every once in awhile but wouldn't touch him at all but didn't get jealous. That's a good thing!!! Oh, I just love little Liam:)

I know I blog a lot about the zoo but hey that's what happens when you have membership there. When my bro and sis came over we took them to the zoo. We had a great time but you guessed it, it was soooooooo HOT.. We made the best of it and of course we had some dippin dots. I LOVE those things, can't get enough!! Pax was all about walking and not riding in the stroller. We went with it and he did surprisingly well. Yay Pax:) We are going to Disney in September so I see lot's of independent walking there, too.

Man it's so hot here...We haven't had a lot going on so not to much to blog about..

I love capturing the many faces of pax on camera. I must admit the hubby caught these. He was messing with my settings and managed to get some GREAT ones. Pax is just growing like a weed and just becoming such a little boy. I can't believe he will be 3 in 6 short months. The time has just flown bye and it's not slowing down.

So it turns out that pax was a scared of the fireworks. As long as someone was holding him,he was OK. Although he kept saying go home while we were at home shooting fireworks..lol!! He did do great at the local fireworks though, he sat in poppy's lap and talked about every color.He got scared just a few times at the local fireworks. We decided last minute to go to the local fireworks and it turned out to be fun for p but man it was hot. I guess he just doesn't like loud noises,so now we know he doesn't like vacuum's and fireworks.

We had a chill 4th and just hung out in the pool and cooked out.

Man oh man has it been HOT in the M town. So glad we invested in a little pool. At least we can fit 2 floats in it and have a good time:) It gives a little relief from the heat. July 4th my dad and brother came out. We all enjoyed messing around in the pool. We also turned on the sprinkler as well. Like I said it was soooo hot this weekend.

Pax has decided he loves to slide down the slide wet. We have to watch him carefully because he flies down that thing. Him and my brother had the best time doing the slide thing this weekend. I am so behind on blog pictures but I am slowly catching up and my post may be all over the place.lol

When my bro and sis stayed with us we cut up a watermelon. Man, that thing sure was good. Pax thought he was a big boy and wanted to help. We gave him a ice cream scoop and let him go to town. He sure thought he was big stuff. He would scoop a little piece in the bucket and say,"big helper"...It was cute:) My brother loves watermelon so this was right up his alley. Let me just say those things are messy. It was all about the fun and memories though. It was a fun night and everyone had a few good laughs..Hope everyone had a good 4th.

As I have mentioned before my child loves water and bubbles. The two mixed he is in heaven. At the ripe age of 2,he loves bubble baths. He could stay in there all night long. It is so much fun to watch him in there. He makes the funniest noises and just splashes away in there. Oh, to be care free again!!
