I am going through my DRAFT posts and found this one. It is from 2017 when Beanie was in Pre-K.

Its been ages since I penned down what a normal workday looks like in terms of our daily schedule. I wrote one years ago when Beanie was a baby and it was fun to read it recently.
The schedule below is pretty much been the same the past couple of years except that dinner time is now much earlier than this time last year. We got in the habit of an early dinner (by our standards) during winter and it seems to work for us.
The biggest change has been bedtime. Since Oct Beanie has not been napping in school. The new school/Pre K has naptime, however the kids are not forced to sleep. As a result, she gets tired earlier. No more waiting 45 min to an hour every night for her to sleep. Now she is out within 5 min - yay!!
So here goes, our normal weekday schedule:
7:00am: My Fitbut silent alarm goes off, invariably I turn it off
7:15- We are usually up. Some days we run 15 minutes behind. We have some cuddles in bed, her bed is jammed up next to mine.
7:20am: Beanies goes to get dressed. The past few months she has been wanting me to get her dressed but since she turned 5 I am having her dress herself while I make the bed etc.
7:30am: we are downstairs. Me in PJs and Beanie all ready in her school clothes. I make her breakfast which could be cereal, yogurt parfait with granola and fruit or pancakes (made during weekend and reheated)
7:40am: I make my tea and pack her lunch. I have the fruit and veggis packed the night before and add the sandwich, or yogurt etc in the morning. She does not eat the school provided lunch. Does not even want to try - that is whole other vent post soon to come! I get about 15-20 min fire off some emails and have a few sips of tea.
7:50am: I go up to brush teeth and change. Beanie finishes breakfast, eats her vitamins and brushes her teeth or if she is lazy I do it for her when I come down.
8:00am: we leave for school, sometimes 10 minutes later but we are trying to get out by 8ish.
8:07am: At school drop off by taking her into the classroom
8:15ish: Leave school and head for the store - grocery or Tar.get. This is my one time to get chores done.
If I don't have to go to the store, I head home, have breakfast and start work getting an extra 30 min.
9:00am: Home and finally get to finish my tea (reheated), put away groceries and make breakfast. Begin my work day as I eat and reply to emails.
9:30am: I shower, then get back back to work for about an hour. Since I work from home, I am constantly looking at my computer so its pretty much work since 7:30am when we come down.
10:30am: If I am able, I go for a walk.
11am-4:45pm work. I don't take lunch, just eat while on calls etc.
4:45pm: I leave to pick up Beanie
5:00pm: Back home. My Mom is usually there by then. Beanie goes to change out of school clothes and I make her snack. Then she watches some TV with my Mom and they go to play.
5:10pm: Beanie is eating snack and I am back at work. She goes up to play with my Mom.
6:00pm: I get started with dinner, while still doing emails and sometimes calls (ugh). Beanie gets fed up by then being upstairs and come down for "Mommy and Sabi" time.
6:15pm My Mom leaves and Beanie and I play a bit while dinner is cooking/or if I started earlier and its done. We usually go outside and water plants, or play flying disc etc.
6:30pm Dinner
7:00 pm: I am cleaning up dishes, packing her lunch while she watches some PBS on my computer.
7:30pm: More "Mommy Sabi time:, we play games/puzzles/dollhouse or now since the weather is nice we go outside and water plants, so sidewalk chalk etc
8:00pm: Come back in and begin changing into PJs. She takes a bath every other day, but now with summer we will likely change that as we usually do.
8:15pm: n bed,teeth brushed, and read books
8:30pm: Lights out. Usually its sooner, but this is the latest. She likes me sitting on my bed holding her hand.
After she sleeps I check work for an hour/emails, watch Netflix, read blogs etc. Its all in the dark room. I used to go to the guest bedroom before but now I just put on the closet light and stay in bed.
10:00pm: I get a snack and turn off lights, check doors, turn on the alarm
11:00pm: Bed for me. Usually by this time Beanie begins to get restless. I get her up to use the restroom and that keeps her dry the rest of the night. I prefer doing that to being awoke at 2am because she wants the use the restroom.
11:15: Really bed for me....sigh!
