{brett, whitney, lincoln & griffin}

This fall has blown my mind and has lasted for so long.  It's so beautiful here!  I'm so grateful that we are here in Virginia.  I love it so much.  We have an amazing ward and I have so many friends that I love already.  Brett is working really hard in school and is really busy.  Lincoln and I stay busy playing with friends, going to the library, going to parks, and exploring this wonderful town.  We're really grateful that Heavenly Father gave us the confirmation to come here.  Every day I look around and am grateful to be here and I know we are here for a reason.  

 Of course we went to Carter Mountain where we got apples and donuts.  Lincoln found another dog to enjoy :)

 On Saturday we went up to Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home.  It was so beautiful!  I'm so glad we went.  Our tour guide was very informative and gave a wonderful tour.

 The home was absolutely gorgeous and we loved all the little details of the home...that man was truly a genius...

 Brett watched Lincoln for us while we did a little shopping and ran around town...

 On Saturday night we went to Bizou and enjoyed a FABULOUS dinner...thanks mom!

 Lincoln had a horrible cold and an ear infection while Nana was here, but he definitely got some good play time in with her, as well as a new train from her!

 Thanks to Hurricane Sandy, my flight on Monday moved to Thursday.  One good side of the Hurricane!

 Holly and I decided to go all out for Halloween....green paint and all...
