July Highlights

Unfortunately most of July I was on the couch puking my guts out, but when I wasn't we were doing this!!

Glenwood Springs Mellor Reunion

This year we met in Glenwood Springs, CO for the Mellor Reunion! Claire and Bob rented a home right out of town and we stayed for a few days and enjoyed being together and the beautiful scenery! The first day we hiked up to Hanging Lake, which was a bigger hike than we anticipated, but everyone did amazing, including the kiddos! Griffin insisted that he hike some of it which was interesting..

The scenery was incredible! Definitely worth the hike!

Lots of playing and eating delicious food at the house!

We got some boats and floated down the river multiple times. I didn't go, being pregnant and all, but everyone really loved it! Lincoln even went!

Bus ride up to the Maroon Bells in Aspen! Truly a spectacular view!

The city of Aspen was so beautiful and picturesque. Definitely worth visiting!

Columbine Campground

Camping with little boys makes camping so much more fun! We left on a Wednesday and took the boys camping. It was a blast! Brett got a raft, so once we got up there we went to a nearby lake. The boys loved rowing around and exploring.

Griffin was all over loving everything..

Lincoln loved the hot dogs, s'mores, and, of course, holding the lantern.

Sleeping was rough for everyone except for Griffin. We learned that he can sleep through ANYTHING!! In the morning a huge garbage truck was rumbling through camp waking up everyone, and Griff slept through it all. We emptied the entire tent while he slept.

Happy 4th

The fourth this year was rather dull. We woke up and went swimming with friends and enjoyed some donuts. After swimming we came home and I slept and then we went to the Jensen's house for dinner and fireworks.

It was a fun day but definitely missed our Utah festivities with family.
