Happy St. Patrick's Day and A Note from the Editor

 Cheers and happy birthday Mommy!
 Slainte!
Hi blog readers (if there are any of you left).  Sorry for our brief absence from the blogging world.  I have a new job and it is busy! But really, it is these boys that are keeping us on our toes.  They are into everything.  Since our last post we have started and finished basketball season, celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas, seen Matt and I turn a year older, and watched our boys mature and grow at alarming rates.  They are still the best and brightest in our eyes.  They are doing fantastic at school and at sports.  They ooze with personality and actually seem to like each other most of the time.  I'm going to try to keep up with blogging for at least a little while longer but admit that the monthly updates are probably a thing of the past.  Sorry Davis, but I'm sure I will have other decisions that contribute to your second child syndrome! Hope you enjoy a look at our last 4+ months.  And hope to see you on the blog and in person sometime soon.

Rodeo Days 2013

This is my last Rodeo Day at MCP because next year I will be in kindergarten at Luke's school.  I ruled Rodeo Days!
It is also Mommy's last rodeo days.  She sniffled a little about that a few times! Check out my chaps.  Ms. Ehrlich has had these for all of her classes for a long time.  So cute.
True cowboy style!

Baseball Fever

There's baseball fever in the Byman House this Spring.  Daddy is coaching my team and Davis is playing instructional T-ball.  Coincidentally, both of our teams are the Giants!
Opening day at our league was lots of fun.  D even spraypainted his hair to support the Giants.
There was an opening day parade.  We missed it last year but really loved it this year.
I played almost every game at the carnival.
Here's D before his exhibition game.  We are both playing a lot of first base this season.
Here D takes some practice swings.
One of our new favorite books.  We highly recommend it for baseball fans.  And, it has a great story.  Thanks Aunt Donna and T.C. for the great read!

Spring Break 2013!

Since we skiied before Spring Break we had to find something local'ish to do for our actual Spring Break.  A visit to Nash in Austin hit the spot! We played at Nash and Wren's house and had so much fun!
We also went on a hike to Hamilton's Pool. Mom and Dad saw this place on PBS and wanted to go and Tia must have read their minds.   We will have to take Dad back next time we are in Austin.

We also did some early Easter egg dying.  We changed it up a bit and did Ninja eggs this year!
Our Easter eggs can kick your Easter eggs rear end!
 The whole shebang!
Look at Wrennie and those pigtails.  So stinkin' cute!
On the day we headed back to Houston we went to a dinosaur park in Bastrop.  We've probably driven past there a whole lot but never stopped.  It was well worth it.

 Fighting the T-Rex.
 HELP!!
Once we got home we played with our friends at a video game night.

On Friday we met up with Cade and Maddie in the Woodlands.  We played, ate yummy pizza and found a splash pad.  It was chilly but still a blast.
Friday night we headed for the rodeo.  It was Blake Shelton night.  That might have been the longest we have stayed up in our entire lives.  We made it past 11 pm.  What a blast.
Mommy and Davis on the bumper cars at the Rodeo carnival.
 Sunning ourselves with the Runyans!
Wasting our money at the Rodeo Carnival.
Check us out on the slide.  We hit that ride every year!
Here we are before the concert.  We really loved the rodeo events this year.  We cheered and cheered.  And, we both want to be in the calf scramble when we are big.

Ski Trip 2013 Steamboat

We headed back to Steamboat this year with the Runyans.  It was a great trip!
Patiently waiting to check in at the airport.  We flew on  a Saturday and stayed til Friday.  It was good timing!
Mommy and Ms. Kim.  They never make it into pictures together.  This is proof they were on the trip!
 Byman Boys  on the lift!
I did 3 days of ski school and was skiing blues on the last day of my lessons.  I really took to skiing this year.  Can't wait to go back next year.  Luke had one lesson and then was skiing blues and greens with the boys.
Daddy and the boys getting ready to go on the lift.
Downstairs at the condo.  We love the place where we stay. It is perfect for us.  Mom calls this area the babysitter!
Daddy tore it up on his snowboard this year.  There was fresh powder almost everyday.
 Family picture!
We tye dyed the snow.  That was fun.  And very cool.
Self portrait...no make up. Brave mommy!

Davis' perch at the condo.  He even slept there!

There was an ice castle next to our condo.  It was a rip off but still fun to roam around.  There were a lot of rules at the castle and we broke them all!
This year Mom and Ms. Kim actually took us to the springs in Steamboat.  The dads were boarding on the back side of the mountain and we couldn't keep up.  The springs were very warm and steamy.  After the springs we walked around downtown Steamboat until we found the Honey Stinger distributor.  We love the honey stingers.  Can't wait to go back next year.
