Pumpkin Carving

This was our first group date with Jared and Melissa Smith. I had met Melissa at school and found out that we both lived in Draper and that we and our husbands were close in age. So we decided to hang out. This is also Drews FIRST time carving a pumpkin.

!Summer Boating Kick Off!

Hello Summer!!! The Shaw family is big into boating and our first trip out this summer with the boat awas to Deer Creek Res. As you can tell by the look on my face we were having way to much fun. Drew decided that the water was to cold so he didnt get in and tube with us. But he did wake board and I am jelous of how good he is. I have problems coming back and forth on the wake and usually end up falling over before I can do anything cool.

Swim Lessons 2011

So this year for swim lessons I taught with beau and dayne. For once I was not the loudest one in the pool. I had alot of really cute kids and they were all so great to teach. I had the great chance to help 3 kids who "were" deathly afriad of the water progress to the point that they could go off the diving board and swim to the side with minimal help. I also got to work with some kids that just didnt want a boy teacher. One of which is miss landry she is the cutest little thing but wouldnt even look at the boys so she was my little leach in a leve 2+ class. Good thing the class loved her or she would have been out of luck.

I loved swim lessons and will miss teaching them next year. Because I dont think that I could get someone to watch a baby all day if we have one by that point. Thank you to everyone who came to lessons this year I had a blast. Even when the boys picked on me.

Forgive Me For Not Writing!!!

So to update you quickly I still love my husband so much. I only have one more year in school. I loved teaching swimming lessons but I am so glad that they are over. I am also so glad that we are here at lake powell this week. But I plan on writing separate posts on the happenings of our lives.

Family Family Family!!!!

Well the title says it all I have so much family and they all love me so much it is insane! But then again I wish that some times there was a way to make things disapear... I found things this weekend that I wish I had never known about. And then when secrets get out and they bite you in the butt oh thats just great too but best of all is that I dont need this right now and I just wish this weekend would start over and be better but oh well!!!.....

Mid Term Wooos

So life is ok once I get home but at school I am ready to die!!!!! Mid terms are here and lasting forever but that will not stop me..... I will up date soon on if I am still alive and made it through the bazillion tests that I have.

???Future Plans???

What are Drew and I going to do in the near future? Good Question! Well first off Drew will be graduating this April and the I will graduate the next April. Um... we are currently living in American Fork Utah but are going to more back to Draper and live in the barn again sometime around march because mama and papa shaw are going to re-do the upstairs area of the barn. They are going to add a bathroom and make the wet bar into a true kitchen. Which will help us out so much and keep us fiscally ok..... Which is a good thing considering that there is no telling what expenses will come up considering that the UofU decided to increase the tuition ughh.... But other than that we have no idea what we will be doing for sure:(

Ready to be Aunt and Uncle!!!!

After the baby shower today for Amber (Drews sister) and seeing the 3D unltrasound pictures of baby Kai we cant wait to be Aunt Nenna & Uncle Dew. Right now there's about 3 more weeks till Kai gets here. The doctors estimate that he is about 6.9 pounds right now and very healthy. Amber looks ready to pop and cant wait to have the baby here although I think that is how we all feel. But we couldnt be more excited yahh!!!
