Rubi is doing well. She's growing up (and out) and is healthy. And sweet. And cuddly.

However, yesterday was a very traumatic day for her. You see, Rubi had her first bath.

And she's a cat.

Obviously this did not go over well...


This is her after we towel dried her off and she was able to come back on the couch. (Please note my AWESOME purple Snuggie in the foreground and super sweet husband in the background.) Look at that face! I'm very glad that she doesn't get dirty often because giving her a bath was NOT something that I want to do again soon.

Today she seems to have forgiven me, although she is justifiably afraid of the bathroom. We'll see how long that lasts...
