This weekend we went to Bear Lake for my birthday and a long, relaxing weekend. It was so nice because we just took our time coming and going and the kids did awesome!

I have to say, it is one of my most favorite places in the whole world. We have lots of fun memories up there.

While we were there, we rode the 4 wheelers up Temple Canyon, played in the lake, drove up to Minnitonka Cave, had lots of good food and ate all the raspberry shakes we could handle. Which by the way, if you are ever up there stop by Hometown drive in, their shakes are the best! They are on Main Street in Garden City. I think we tried just about every drive in up there and I have to say, that is by far the best we found. (in fact, I wish I had one now!)

The canyons were so beautiful covered with all the trees turning. I absolutely love it up there! I think my most favorite thing about it is the fresh, crisp mornings!

Our good friends, Brent & Millie's twins turned 2 and asked me to do a little photoshoot with them. 
They were so much fun to work with and I am so pleased how they turned out!
